St. Louis... What a waste... But then again it wasn't...

Just got home from a rather interesting trip to the great city of St. Louis, Mo... For starters, I left for the trip already exhausted from my rigorous work schedule, four days worth of shifts at both jobs, then Sunday Morning, which is the busiest morning of the week at my first job, before hitting the shower, and hitting the Road...

The trip to St. Louis went fairly well, despite several attempts to katch some zzz's while trying to drive 80 down the interstate...Found the hotel pretty alright, got checked in alright, then decided to go find some grub... Drove around for nearly fifteen minutes, before coming upon a White Kastle, which sounded rather tasty...Went inside, two skruffy older men were sitting at a table next to the order line... one of the men started checking out my 13 year old daughter, making komments to his buddy... She noticed and got worked up, so I made The woman take the kids out to the van, while I waited for the food, so we kould instead take it back to the hotel and eat, before meeting up with Preston... After nearly half an hour of waiting, I finally got my food, after listening about how "Old girl, I didn't know you were working at this store, I'm just komin in to drop off an applikation for Shaniqua, ya know she needs a job, she's livin back her mama's house, since she left her old man after he beat her again last night... "

Luckily the stories ended and my food was ready soon, so I left, got into my van and headed back to where I thought my hotel was... We must've ended up back at that White Kastle four times, before we finally stopped at another Marriott and they gave us direktions to right around the Korner... I felt so stupid... haha...Kancelled any plans of meeting up that night... haha...

The next morn, went down, had a big ass breakfast of skrambled eggs, bakon, taters, Blueberry Waffle... Sat down with the kids and enjoyed a nice breakfast together, First in a long time...

Took The Woman to her doktor appointment, then me and the kids went to hang out til she was done... After nearly an hour, got the kall to kome pick her up, and heard about how the doktor wouldn't even look at the xrays or MRI's and determined she wasn't that bad, once he found out I was between insurance kompanies... I had to pay $180 for her to go to this appointment, since my insurance had recently been discontinued, and I am waiting for this new insurance to start up...

Picked her up, and headed back to Union Station, where we had a Karikature drawn up of all of us... left there, hit the Arch, when Preston Finally kalled me back, after not answering my kalls all day... Kancelled the zoo, since there were detours, and we already got lost in the city once... Went to leave the parking lot, when I realized I didn't have the $6 on me to pay the gatekeeper... Had to park and walk a block up the road to find an ATM...

Finally leaving St. Louis, I get direktions to Preston and Crystal's which I drive past twice, before cirkling the block and pulling up to the house... Hung out for a bit, smoked out, took some piktures, before heading back out, hoping to make it home before it got too late...

Stopped at the gas station after leavin P's, Had $54 on my kard, went in, paid for $30 for gas, and bought a pack of Marlboro, then proceeded to McD's for some burgers for the road... Left McD's and drove down the highway for about five minutes before looking down and realizing I still only had half a tank of gas... I had forgotten to pump the $30 I had paid for... Drove another tenminutes, looking for an exit, before decidingit wouldn't be worth the drive back if they decided to tell us "tough Luck"... Luckily She had $8 in her purse, and I had $6 on my kard... Made it home with an eighth of a tank left...

For the Most part, I feel the trip was a failure...But, the kids had a good time...
