AH! You know what pisses me off??????

When people listen to songs, don't pay attention to the context and get things completely wrong.
Some stupid girl argued with me for an hour cuz I told her that she didn't even understand this song.

The song, Let It Roll, by Secondhand Serenade.

She was like trying to relate it to how relationships end and how you should move on from them and all that BS. THE SONG IS ABOUT A DUDE AND HIS GIRLFRIEND FUCKING FOR THE FIRST TIME!! It had completely nothing to do about a relationship ending.

Yeah, well this song is clearly about them doing it for the first time. And she says, "yeah this song helped me through this bad breakup" Ugh, it makes me mad. I mean I understand when people talk about how they interpreted the song a different way, but when they don't even pay attention to it, it makes them look like a dumbass. She used this song for her music presentation and before she explained about why she chose this song, my teacher's face got all red. She was soo embarrassed. She even said to the girl, "please don't get to personal. be appropriate." And the dumb chick still didn't understand.

wow, she had to be clueless. I listened to it for the first time like a month ago and figured out what it was about just from listening that once.

I think some people just listen to the music for the most part and kinda fill in their own words.

One time this girl kept listening to "A Baltimore Love Thing" by 50 Cent, and thought it was some sweet love song.

And then I rudely let her in on the fact it's about someone getting addicted to heroin.

I ruined it for her.

tho sometimes some songs are speciffic on what they are about, so they could be taken different ways as well.
