An Unpredictable Love

I decided to go back to the hospital. That was after all where my body was. Hyden was still sobbing, but slightly. Steve was there. Which was awkward.

“Friggin’ uncle of hers did this! I’m gonna kill that S.O.B!” Steve ranted.

“Dude, don’t EVEN go there! You knew all this time and you did nothing about it. Besides it was Andy Cruz.”

“You would know you-” A news reporter came in. Which was odd because I was now becoming “famous”

“I’m here on the behalf of-“

“I know why you’re here.” Hyden said coolly.

“Well would you mind-”

“Yes you are NOT getting ANY info on her!” Steve then said through his teeth.

Just then Mark came in. What in heck!? Steve and Hyden both glared at him.

“Relax I’m…She’s alive??” He asked in amazement. He walked over to my body and took my hand. I felt it. Weird. 

“Hey you’re that dude who frightened Kali that one night!” Hyden recalled.

“Yeah that’s me. I am her…brother.” He replied in a strained way. My physical hand tightened around his. Mark gasped.

“She doesn’t have any siblings so therefore you’re lying.” Steve spat. Hyden clenched his fists. I went over to him and placed my hand on his shoulder. He relaxed.

“She didn’t…doesn’t know about me. My father, our father wanted me to check up on her. Our mother didn’t want me to. That lady that was here is our mother. But she’s a whore so it doesn’t matter.” Mark seemed so sincere when he said that. Maybe him being my brother would work out after all. My physical self smiled. Mark gasped along with Steve. I don’t know why Steve was here. I felt a faint tugging....To be continued
