3 Hours Later

I jerked awake when I heard arguing. It was Steve and Hyden fighting. What else was new?? 

“Guys stop fighting! You’re going to wake Kali up!” Mark hissed.

“Ugh too late. I’m up. Why’re you guys fighting again?” I questioned.

“Steve thought it was a bright idea to light up a cigarette. So I threw it in a glass of water and then tossed the water outside. The plants need water anyway.”

“You smoke Steve? Eww I never knew that.” I pretended to gag.

“Yeah I barley started.” He admitted glaring at Hyden. Just then 2 Steve’s friends started to parade in. Oh boy this will be interesting!

“Kaaaallliii!!! Hiya little guuuuurl!” one of them said. I rolled my eyes but smiled.

“Hey Buck. How’s my favorite pot-head?” Bucky sheepishly smiled.

“I thought that was me?” Jayson asked, as he came in last. You had to love them both.

“You BOTH are.” I said laughing.

“What about Steve? Isn’t he one of your favorite stooooners?” Bucky asked drawing out the o.

“Not at the moment. Come here you guys! Give me a hug!” I said suddenly. They both bounced over and gave me a hug one on each side. Jayson and Bucky were the only stoner friends of Steve’s that I liked. The rest were retarded and liked anything with boobs and a vagina. These two were different, they were actually human in a way.

Just then Raven, one of my personal friends came in. She was tall, black shiny hair with pink highlights, an olive skin tone, B-cup, light amber eyes and thin-ish, and was very cute.

“Hey Kali-fornia!” Raven sang. Kali-fornia was her nickname for me. I missed her.

“Rave! Hey how are you? I missed you soo much!” I exclaimed. I was so happy I had tears in my eyes. 

“I’ve only came for a little bit Kali, but here!” She trusted a colorful bag towards me. I opened it. I saw a photo us…The true us. I had pretty blonde hair that was long and choppy. I fought back tears. I took more of the tissue paper out, there was a black Teddy Bear with a pink shirt that said “I’m small…but STRONG! HUG ME!!!” In lime-green. Also there was a tape recorder. I dug more ‘till I found bandages and looked confused. “It’s so that way you can patch yourself up when you fall down!” She giggled. I laughed. Lastly there was our middle school journal that we both wrote together. I hugged her and thanked her. “Rave, you’re the best!”

“So are you chick! Well I have to go now Hun, take it easy.” With one last hug she left.

“I’d really love to stay but I have to go take care of Renee. My aunt decided to leave.” Hyden said.

“Take care, call me if you need to ok?” I nodded as he kissed my forehead. “Bye.” I smiled sadly.

Bucky and Jayson, Steve and Mark all stayed for a little while before Bucky and Jayson had to go. It was only Steve and Mark and I.

“Kali, I’m going to go walk around for a little while ok?” Mark confirmed. I nodded.

“So what’s up with you and Hyden?” Steve asked as soon as Mark left.

“Nothing, don’t worry about it ok? Besides you’re still my best-friend.” I said. Steve glared at me.

“You know what I mean. Don’t say I’m your best-friend…I’m your boyfriend…we both know that.”

“Steve no. We are NOT going out! You are NOT my boyfriend” I said calmly.

“Then how can you explain that day we had sex? I didn’t do it because we were JUST friends. Kali, you know I love you-”

“Listen to me Steve, that day we were both hormonal. And not to be harsh but I’m here because of you. You knew what Andy was going to do and you never stopped him. You don’t love me for me. You love me for what I can do.” That’s when I turned on the tape recorder.

“NO!! That’s NOT true! Kali, come on baby, come on please don’t be like that!!! I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you!” Steve almost screamed. His fists were clinched and his eyes were mean. This scared me but I didn’t let it show. “We were meant to be! It is destiny! You know that’s true!!” Steve exclaimed.

“Yeah sure. Steve don’t go there.”

“What do you want me to do? Huh?”

“Tell me the truth. Why did Andy do this to me?”

“Like I know! All I know is that he was tired of Hyden drooling over you!”

“Bull! Tell me!”

“I swear to God! Look Kali, it was suppose to be Hyden that was gonna get the beating! Not you! I was the one who was suppose to do it all!” Got him. “Now since I told you that I have to kill you. I love you I really do, but you can’t live knowing all this.” He pulled out a razor. “They’ll think you did it. You were after all a cutter once.”....
