Princess lies

The streets were filled with song and happiness this day. The day the princess was born. The princess was born into a land called Zayna. It was a small, beautiful land where trees and flowers were growing and in bloom everywhere. The smell of flowers and pine trees spread to every corner of the town. There were shops, and stores, benches, and tables. For the houses there were cottages that were each unique in their own way. Half with vines, one fourth with flowers on vines, all with chimneys, and a window for each room. They were big enough to hold a crowd of mabey thirty. All the people that lived here did not live like royalty but they were not peasants either. Everyone was....

Everyone was extremly happy about this news of a new princess. Knowing how great their present king and queen were they expected this new queen to be to be as good, even better, mabey. Everyone was gathering at the palace for a ball and banquet in celebration of the princess.

The castle was the most beautiful thing in Zayna as it should be. Its color was almost turquoise not quite. Gems were around each window marking which rooms were what. Blue were the ball and banquet rooms or just rooms that they threw stuff in. No gems for meeting rooms. Red was for the king and queens rooms like bedroom and relaxing room. Purple was for the kitchens and dining rooms. So as you can imagine each room {or almost each room} had their own color. The castle had no green marked rooms which was unusual because green was the king and queens favorite color. So when Liana Coreley Avrilian {the princess} was born they had her rooms marked with green. Liana traveled into every room so each room had a greem gem on the top. Everyone watched Liana grow into a beautiful young lady. The king Zaylen Bradice Taydory Avrilian and queen Libbieria Natacia Avrilian both loved their daughter very much and that is why they tried to not love her to much for she was to go on a journey to another country. She was to travel to meet her betrothed. While Liana grew people begane to hope for a better queen less and less. Liana was always outside. She always wanted to be near animals and so it was done. When she was with them she claimed that they spoke to her. No one knew what to think because the only people who could do that were people that lived away in the woods.So the princess would have to have wood people blood in her but not one thought she did. Her parents belived her because they to could talk to animals but they hid it better than she did because Liana didnt know that she couldn't tell anyone. They all decided {Liana, the queen, and king} to tell everyone that it was misunderstood. No one could talk to animals and that Liana was playing a game. Soon everyone forgot about the incident and loved Liana even more than ever.

NEW CHAPTER

Over the next years Liana spent time in the city with her parents. It was just them and they would go and act as if they were normal people. Not peasants because everyone had money all the time. On a night that the king and queen were acting very strange Liana went to talk to them in their lounge.

"Papa, mother." Liana said

"Yes dear?" said the queen with a jumpy expresion.

" Why have you two been acting so strange latley? Like today...you seemed so sad everytime I looked at you."

"Well yes um we wanted to talk to you about that dear." said the king and he tried to hold a still, solem face instead of crying.

"Yes Liana, dear I think it best you sit down. Your father and I have a story to tell." the queen said. So the king and queen told their story of how the rulers of another country came and they all had a chat over tea. The king and queen of the country called Balveria wanted their first son to marry the first daughter of king Zaylen Bradice Taydory Avrilian and queen Libbieria Natacia Avrilian of Zayna. They all agreed that the two would wed when Liana was of the age 18 and their son Celius was of the age 19.

"How could you do this? Why would you make plans for your first and only child to be wed before they were born? Besides that what if he is stuck up, selfish, has no interest in anything but his looks. Mama, papa what if he is the most hideous thing i've seen in my life? You two know that I've seen some hideous things in my life." Liana said in an incredulas tone while looking at her mother the whole time.

"My dear you are, it seems, pointing these statements all at your mother. It is not her fault so don't blame it all on her." said the king with an almost angry voice.

"Yes my darling but then again don't blame your father. If you must blame someone then blame the both of us. We both made the decision not to get to close to our first child because the first is always wed off to some strange person. We had no idea that we would get close to you and that you would be so perfect. We still have the rest of the year to say our proper goodbyes so lets not waste any more time than we have." said the queen.

NEW CHAPTER

It was the same year, but the time was almost up. The royals had been acting more and more like the towns people and it surprised everyone. The day came when the princess had a week untill departure. Everyone was so sad. Some were so sad that everytime they saw the princess they cried. Liana was scared for everyone. Not knowing what would happen when her parents died scared her the most. Who would be running the country? Who would rule? All these questions befudled her. So when the day came it was the saddest day in her life.

"Mother, Papa you won't make me go now will you? I haven't had enough days with you and how do I know that i will ever again?" Liana said in a pleading voice while saddling her horse.

"My dear we can't change what happened oh so long ago. The longer you stay the longer you'll be and the King of Balvaria doesn't have much patience. Yes I to really wish you could stay but you have no choice and must go." said the queen.

So off rode Liana and about fifty men to guard and protect her. Some even to get to know her and mabey be friends. We should actualley say fifty one because Liana's lady-in-waiting went along with them. This lady-in-waitings name was Saraya Coble and latley Sarayel had been acting strange or so it seemed to Liana. A couple or more over half of the guards were always talking to Saraya and always wanting her attention. To Liana this was probably happening because these guards didn't want to get to close to Liana so they rode by her lady-in-waiting and it was all fine with Liana.
