Dear Dad

Remember when I was your little girl, with those bright curious eyes. How no matter what you were my hero and you could never let me down. Can you still remember mom, how she always treated me wrongly but you never stopped her. When she hit me and you sat a long side, not saying a word. I know you only did that because you loved her, but I thought you loved me too. You always promised me that you'll never treat me like she did, but now she's gone you act just like her. I stay awake at night crying because I'm just so depressed, I have issues dad but I'm scared to tell you because you won't believe me. I've tried so many times now just to end my life, I hurt myself every time you hurt me. Physically or mentality dad. You threaten me, and you yell at me, when I cry can't you see it's not for your pity but that I'm terrified of you. Now every time I see you raise your hand towards me I flinch, you don't know how much it hurts. I miss you dad, the way you were before mom left, back when you loved me and never abused me. I'm sorry I remind you so much of her, it's not my fault. If I could I would change how I looked and the way I acted so when you look at me, you won't see her but the little girl with bright curious eyes I use to be.
