Chapter three:
Malls are a girl’s best friend
"Hello"
"Hey babe"
"Hey, what are you doing?"
"I’m at the park playing ball with the guys."
"Let me guess you’re getting your ass kicked."
"No"
"So what’s the score?"
"Well Jonathan and I have thirteen point and Will and Anthony have fifty-two."
"See, exactly what I said you’re getting you ass kicked."
"I wouldn’t say it like that."
"Then how will you say it?"
"I call it being down by thirty-nine points."
"Damn, you suck" I laughed
"Really"
"Yes really"
"So where are you, where ever you are it sound really crowded."
"I’m at the mall with the girls." I turned around and glimpsed at the girl who were standing by the entrance impatiently waiting. "Josh, I have to go. I’ll call you when I get home."
"Alright"
"I love you"
"I love you too" I smiled and flipped the phone shut before walking over to the girls.
"Did I hear correctly?" Alana asked. "Well it depends what did you hear?" "The L.O.V.E word." "Well yeah you heard correctly." "Sharon looked at me and smiled before walking over to me and asking me "Who said it first?" "Well I was sleeping in his arms and he whispered it." "Oh my God that is so sweet. "I know right" The girls and walked until we reached "Juicy Couture" I love their clothes there so cute and most of them are so pink, but however my friends and I have distinct styles. My style is sexy yet classy, Sharon’s is conservative, Alana’s is kind of emo, Tracy’s style is more on the vintage side and Sarah’s is more on the slutty side. I walked inside of "Juicy Couture" A looked around before picking up a pair of jeans that were cut right beneath the ass. Since I have a fatty I think that it might be good to show it off.
I mean I’m still young I have one more year until I’m grown then I’ll go full class except in the bedroom. I walked up to the register with the jeans; sure they were expensive, but they were worth ever penny. The cashier walked back to the counter before picking up the jeans, scanning them and saying the words "That will be sixty dollars." I pulled the wad of cash out of my jacket pocket and handed the cashier sixty dollar’s even. She placed the money into the register took the alarm off of the jeans put them in a bag and handed them to me. "Here is your receipt as well" she said as she quickly tucked it into the bag. "Thank you"
I smiled as I quickly walked out of the store and stood next to the girls who had there eyes a groups of boys who were on was on the other side of the store. "Are yah done?" "In a minute." Alana said as she walked to the other side of the store and stood in front of the group of boys. "No she did not just do that." I said in disbelief. "I think she did." Sharon replied. "Well shit I’m not going to let her have all of the fun that guy in the blue fleece t-shirt is a hottie." Sarah said as she walked over to the group of boys and stood next to Alana. "Wow" "yeah me too" "You think we should go shopping without them." "I absolutely agree." Sharon replied.
"They’ll catch up to us." "I know." " So where do we go next?" Tracey asked "You know, I seen this coat online that I would like to get from "Burlington Coat factory." "Is it cute." "Girl it’s beyond cute." I looked at Sharon and smiled before asking "So you really don’t like Jonathan." "Why is it that I knew this was coming." "Because you know me all too well." " It’s not that I don’t like him, you know what scratch that is it that I don’t like him. He’s too nice." "Nice guys are in now or days." "Not to me." "Come on you should give him a chance you’ll never know what it’ll happen." " That’s just it nothing will ever change." "You don’t know that. You really need to stop judging people." "I like judging people."
"How would you feel if someone judged you before they gotten the chance to know you" "I would say the hell with them. Kim, you know I don’t care about what people think about me." "I beg the differ I think the only reason you won’t go out with Jonathan is because you know that you guys will be good together and you‘re use to being alone." "I agree with Kim, Sharon" You’re right I like used too being alone I mean now or days you can’t trust anyone, but yourself…unless you’re drunk." I laughed and Sharon smiled. "Sharon Just give a chance." "Okay, then will you get off my back?" "I’m not on your back" I jumped on Sharon’s back. "Now I’m on your back. Sharon stopped walking and I let myself down. "You are so silly." Tracey said "I get that a lot." I smiled and turned around just in the nick of time because the group of boys, Alana and Sarah Were following us.
Sharon and I started to walk at a faster pace until we reached the outside of "Burlington coat factory." When we turned around the only two who were standing behind us were Alana and Sarah. "Did you two have fun?" I asked as I walked into the store beside Sharon. "Actually we did" Sarah said as she and Alana sped up until they were right beside us. I walked over to the area that the coats were in Sharon walked to the area where the shoes were, Tracey went to go see it the store was and Sarah and Alana were scouting for boy. They’re so desperate. I picked up the coat that I had seen online, check out the price to make sure I could afford it before walking over to the shoe area and picking a pair of black "Dereon" hill to go alone with it.
"These are so sexy" I said as my eyes widened. They were perfect and they match my new wool "baby Doll" Coat perfectly. "I looked at the price; they were one hundred, twenty dollars. I don’t care how much they cost I Was so going to get them. I walked to the line and waited there impatiently. There were five others in front of me. Sharon came and got in line, but I let her get in front of me being as though she only had once pair of shoes. Once we finished we stood in the front of the store waiting for Tracey. By the time Tracey finished what she was doing we were all waiting for her.
Two hours later…
We all sat at a round table in the food court. "Oh my god my feet are killing me." Sarah said. "Well you shouldn’t have worn six inch heel to the mall." "You’re one to talk Kim." "Yeah I am because my feet don’t hurt." "Whatever" Sarah replied. "So Alana what the hell did you get from "Hollister"? You damn there have five bags." "You’ll see when I wear all of these outfits to school." "I bet they’re cute." "Yeah and they’ll look even cuter on me." "Conceited much." I asked "Not conceited confident." All of us began to laugh. "Can we get out of here now, I’m starting to get nauseous." Tracey said. I replied "How and the hell can you get nauseous form the mall?" " It’s too many different smells in this place." I smiled and we all stood up heading for the exit.
I had did good for just three hundred, forty dollars. I had two pair of boots, four pair of jean, two Jacket and five shirts. I can catch sell if I really want too and sometimes if it’s a guys I use my look to my advantage and I always get a discount. We walked until we reached the car. I was completely exhausted. When I got home an hour late after Sharon dropped Alana, Tracey and Sarah off I plopped down on the bed and closed my eyes for a little while.
