   Tawny stared at Spencer’s mom in shock. Then quickly slammed her hand across his mother’s face. Mrs. Montgomery touched her cheek and gasped. Tawny pointed a finger at her. “How dare you blackmail me. How dare you call my family dirt. How dare you tell me what to do! For a queen you’re awfully rude and disrespectful and ugly!” That got another gasp from his mother.
   Tawny heard a snicker behind her and turned around to face a smiling Spencer. “And you grew up with this woman? How did you manage to even talk nicely to everyone when your mother is like that.”
   Mrs. Montgomery grabbed her arm. “Enough! I am getting your family out of the business. You are fired.” Then turned to Spencer. “And you! Will be home for dinner! Goodbye!” She spun on her heels walked a few foot to her pink old day carriage with horses and drove away or…I mean hoofed away (:
   Tawny turned to Spencer. She shook her head and walked towards her house, tears forming. “Tawny, wait!” Spencer ran after her and grabbed her by the waist. “Let go of me, Spence.” 
   “No.” He said and spun her around, kissing her full on the lips. “I like you. And I’m not going to let you go just because my mother doesn’t like you.” Tawny gripped his arms and unwrapped it from her body and wiped her tears away.
   “She’s firing my family business, Spence. We can’t live without the money she pays us. I can’t do this anymore.” She turned away but as anoyin as he is, he grabbed her arm.
   “What do you mean you can’t do it anymore? We just started dating.” Spencer protested.
   “Dating? What do  you mean? We never go out. The only place we’ve ever been together is under my tree. We don’t go out in public and you’re a prince, Spence. My family’s your slave.” Tawny wiped her tears. “Please, you’ve done enough damage. Please just let me go. Please.”
   She tugged at his hand till he let go. Spencer looked at her unbelievingly, hurt from his eyes she can see. She cried even harder and walked away.
   This time… Spencer didn’t go after her.
