I was sitting beside Jordan, everything about him pulled me in. His dark skin, his dimples, his tied back thick hair, his smile, his voice, his green eyes.. I was so in love with him, and had been for years now. I wanted to tell him so bad, but what if he only valued me as a friend?

I wanted to say then and there "I like you." Because love might be too much of a strong word, although I had "loved" Jordan for years. I stared at his face, he turned and caught my gaze. "Everything okay sweety?" He asked resting his hand on mine. Oh the touch of his hand felt so right, I wanted him to keep it there forever.

"Yes, I'm sorry.. I think I should go and take a walk." I slipped my hand out from under his and stood up. I adjusted my skirt and looked down at him. "Just need some fresh air."

"Oh, okay." He replied.

I turned away and began to walk forward when I heard him following behind me. "What are you doing?" I asked rubbing my arm.

"You think I'd give up the chance to walk with you on the beach, as the sun sets?" He smiled.

I nearly forgot, the sun was to be setting in a few minutes. And incase you wondered Jordan's parents had a beach house and since I was close to the family, I was allowed to stay when ever I desired. I smiled to my self, isnt walking on the beach romantic when the sunsets? Maybe he did like me. "Okay Danny" I replied, Danny was a nicname I gave him around the time we first met.

Jordan smiled white, his pearly white teeth were amazing. He stepped forward and put his arm in mine, then opened the door and we walked out. The breeze of the ocean blew against us as we walked down the steps it felt beautiful. I glanced at him as we walked towards the sand. Why did was he so nice to me, if he didnt like me? I shook my head, he is forbidden he is with Kathy.

He looked over at me every few moments, I could see out the side of my eye that something was bothering him. He would look down at the sand for a little. Just as we reached the water I looked up and saw the sun beggining to set, "Jordan.. Danny look" I smiled. He looked up and smiled too, I saw in the sand and he sat beside me, resting his head in my lap.

"Danny I have something to ask, dont be offended?" I gulped.

"Sure Jenny what is it?" He looked up quickly.

"Why are you with Kathy? I mean, uh she isnt that nice to you. You deserve so much better." I looked away.

"I think she is pretty and at times is sweet.."He replied.

"Oh." Was all I could manage to say. I decided he'd never like me.

"But." Jordan added.

"But what?" I asked.

"There is some one else I'd rather be with, but she.." Jordan eyes got teary.

"She what?" I asked concerened, was it about me??

"Will never know how I feel, because I dont know how to tell her." He said.

"Well why don't you take her out? Make it a special day." I said trying to be helpful. I knew it wasnt about me, why would he like me? :[

"You can sing a song to her, you got a wonderful voice?" I added.

"Thats perfect!" He hugged me, "You think she'll like it?" He asked.

"She'll love it, any girl would trust me. Your amazing." I smiled and hugged my friend tightly.

"Okay got to go." he jumped up.

"Where?" I asked.

"To do something, see you later." He ran off.

I frowned to myself, hope the girl likes it, because she doesnt know how much I'd kill to have him feel that way about me.
