 I had recently broken up with my boyfriend of nearly a year when my bestfriend Erica decided it was time for me to cheer up. She took time off of school and work, and drove over to my house. KNOCK KNOCK she pounded at my door, I rolled over in bed and closed my eyes again. KNOCK KNOCK she continued to pound, "Who is there?" I babbled yawning.

 "Erica, open up!" She giggled. I sighed and sat up in my bed, pushed my hair behind my ear, turned my feet around to the edge of the bed, stood up, grabbed a robe off a hook, and walked to the door and unlocked it. "Hi Suzi what took you so long!" Erica came in and shut the door behind her. "Get dressed!"

 "Its like 8 A.M. what are you doing here?" I rubbed my eyes and went back to my bed.

"It's 9:36 A.M. , plus I am here to take you away from your troubles." Erica said while she sat beside me.

"What do you mean?" I rolled my eyes tiredly. "You've been sad ever since Dwight broke up with you, So I'm going to take you to my Grandmother's beach house."

"Really? I loved going there as jits." I smiled.

"Yup suprise, so get some of your bathing suits, shorts, tank tops and we are set to go." She squeezed me. I stood up and walked to my dresser to get clothes out, by the time 10 minutes had passed I had my bag packed and was ready to go. I really wanted to leave town and forget my troubles.

 When we were finally on the road driving I pressed my face against the window and watched the scenery go fastly by. It was a 3 hour drive and I couldn't wait to lay in the sun again, on our own private beach.
