Darkness. Malevolent shadows loomed in the sky above. A sense of claustrophobia. Of being trapped. Unable to escape. Impending doom. A cacophony of bloodcurdling screams pierced through the night, shattering it into a thousand pieces. The silence forever broken. The shadows descended upon the earth, claiming their victims. Bloodshed. Faces contorted in agony, hands reaching upwards to the Heavens in a plea of repentance. Praying for a savior to rescue them from this Hell. Their prayers went unanswered, as the shadows continued to mercilessly bleed the life from them. I lie there, helpless, watching them all die.
