Chelsea:
I had never even met my brother, half brother, whatever I was supposed to call him. Supposedly he had been a one night stand baby that my dad happened to never tell me or my mom about. He was young and messed up, really horribly messed up. Apparently his guardian had been in a crash and he had to make the decision to take her off life support. I would have killed that bastard. Now I had to meet him, face to face and try to figure something out. He was only 17 but he had the mind of a 20 year old, he might even look like it.
He was the one that practically ruined my family and I hated him for it, here his was doing it again with his fat head and stupidness. I pulled my car into the driveway of the social home and switched my car off, my thoughts were disturbed as I stepped out and walked into the home. The only thing that popped out at me was a plant that was in full bloom sitting in a corner. A lady walked up and smiled as if she was glad I were here, it was all a play.
"James Cristophen Haylen's sister? Is that you?" the lady asked and I shook my head roughly.
"My name is Chelsea. I still don't know if I have a relation with him." I said my voice gruff and mean as the lady's smile vanished.
"Well now.. just come and see him. He might acctualy be awake today, today is.. Wednesday? never mind. We'd have to wake him up." she said and I looked at my watch. it was almost four O'clock in the afternoon. What the hell?
"What do you mean he's asleep? This late?" I asked and she nodded her face sad.
"Our poor James is doped up on sleep medication and we don't know where he hides them." she frowned opening the door and stepping in gesturing for me to follow her so I did. A guy lay on a small cot his mouth hanging open, a water bottle empty on the floor. The bed was a mess and pillows were strewn on the floor. The lady walked up to him and pushed his shoulder hard back his eyes popped open lazily as he didn't even look at me.
"James Christophen!" Said the lady and his eyes popped open he looked at me his eyes widening and I snorted. He sat up reeling backward.
"LEAVE!" he yelled jumping out of the bed and pushing me backward. What the hell was wrong with this kid. "Just leave! No.. Don't come back. No more dreams! Don't come back to haunt me. It was the right thing to do." he said his face contorted in agony as he shoved me. The lady was calling people up and I looked slowly at his dresser. Next to the bottled water the lamp and a bottle of pill was a picture frame. I glanced at it and gasped as my reflection stared back at me smiling. He glared at me and pushed. "Go back to wherever dead people go. Your free now. Go!" he said softly. I shook my head.
"I'm not her." I said looking at him with anger. "Just because I look like her I'm not her!" I yelled "Don't you ever push me again you filthy bastard." I shook with anger slapping him across the face. He moved backward and I reeled my hand hurt, I didn't know I had that much force in me.
"Who are you then?" he whispered holding his cheek.
"My name is Chelsea. I'm your half sister, my dad fucked your mom one night while he was drunk, unfortunately." I said and turned around "I need a drink." I spun around and headed down the stairs while someone followed me.
