Alexandria sat with her back proped against the metal wall. It rose high above her head and streatched for miles at both sides curving slightly and then dissapearing after awhile. A bag was laying next to her filled to the brim with little kinkets of the sorts and food; she seemed distant as the sun rose above her head and finally when it was at its peek did she blink and swing the bag over her shoulder as she stood up. She huffed softly and started walking down the street her small hand slidding against the metal wall as if she were wishing it weren't there. The blazing sun finally made her stop the wall streatching even farther from the spot she stood now. Her head down and a watter bottle to her lips as she drank the last drops.
A car honked, made me look away from the window and when I looked back she was no longer there just a small black dot down the street the trail of hazy heat waves clouding her image. You could hear people talking down below as they passed under my bedroom window. The Nazi's were planning something victorious and we the Germans should win the war. A small baby uttered a cry and I froze for a moment listening to the strange sound as it drifted through the air making me wish I were somewhere else. Yet my fantasy's were broken a long time ago as I grew more into a man than a boy, that was what happened to everyone. I heard the stir of someone behind me and as I turned I softly inclined my head to the man before me.
"Father." I whispered and looked up into his aqua blue eyes, I was the same as him and no better the way I was taught. His blond hair was cropped short as mine fell into my eyes and waved ever so slightly. He nodded and motioned for me to sit down as if I could have done anything other than sit with him in the room. I walked over to the small table in a far corner and pulled out a chair as I sat in it he stood above me like the superiour male. His stance was frail after years of hard labor to raise our family and yet I showed no actual respect for the man before me. His wrinkled face was turned into a permanent mask of disaproval as he stared me down his eyes locked with mine and like always I looked away and then back to find him licking his lips.
"You have two choices." He started out softly his fingers trailing his sideburns softly and his eyes diverted to my floor instead of to me. He put a hand on my shoulder and looked back into my eyes. "You have two choices Jerovi. Join Mr.Hitler; Or Fight in the war." His fierce eyes were boring into mine and finally I stood up his hand reaching toward my shoulder as I towered over him my eyes locked into his.
"What would you suggest father?" I asked laughing with no emotion in the noise. He dropped his hand from my shoulder and muttered to himself over and over about a decision to make though we both knew there was none. I would join the almight Hitler at all costs to save my life, my features were his most prized possesion. He would want me by his side and I would go. I looked down at my father as tears brimmed his eyes and he wiped them away with the back of his hand "You are pathetic old man. Go tell Mother." I said and turned away from him toward my desk. I grabbed a piece of parchement and scrambled some numbers on it as I opened the window as far as it would go. Sure enough like always she stood at the very end of the wall farthest away from my window so far I could barely make her out, she was invisible.
"ALEXANDRIA!" I yelled as the paper fell from my hands and I heard my father's footsteaps retreat from my bedroom.
