Bitter Sweet

She pursed her shiny pink lips and a frown appeared on her soft her face.

'' Listen ! '' She shouted , waving her arms in the air . The chatting stopped and the keyboards stopped tapping. '' We need to finish this ''

A girl with brown hair and braces raised up her hands '' What if we dont ? '' she asked.

'' Then '' Cindy paused '' It wont be published ''

She tried to talk over them , but they payed no attention.

 She sighed , stressed and shakend '' LISTEN'' she screamed , she was feeling dizzy - and just wanted to sit down.

'' Deadline is 6 pm . You need to finish your articles '' she said raising her voice. Cindy ran her fingers through her long blonde hair. She couldnt be here any longer , she was feeling dizzy and her stomach was rumbling.

'' People '' she began '' I have to leave. Send the articles to my e-mail before six ! '' She waited for a while making sure everyone had heard what she said. She picked up her Louis Vuitton bag and swung it across her shoulders. Before she left she stood by the door , looking at the writers of the school newspaper. She flung her shiny hair and left the room.

'' Cindy , Cindy '' A voice from behind her called. She spun around. It was Evelina a girl with shiny long black hair with bright blue eyes and was one of her good friends.

''  Sup ? '' She said joking , trying to hide her stress .

'' Are you busy ? '' Evelina challenged.

Cindy thought for a second  '' No '' she said with a smile.

'' Good'' Evelina cheered and grabbed her arm.

They sat in the cafeteria next a huge plant distant from the other tables. Evelina looked eagerly at Cindy

'' So ? '' She asked , awaiting for Evelina to reveal the news.

'' Well '' she began , trying not to get to excited '' Dylan finally asked me out ! '' she  squealed.

'' Aaw ! Thats great '' Cindy laughed , smiling at her friend . Evelina has had a crush on Dylan , a guy on the football team for a long time.

'' And thats not it '' Evelina squealed '' We're seeing eachother tonight '' a huge smile spread across her face.

'' O-m-g ! Thats great '' Cindy squealed , happy for her friend . '' But , you've been intrested in this guy for ages ! Did you finally talk to him?''

 Cindy asked pretending to be suprised that Dylan had asked her out. Truth was - she had been tired of Evelinas late night calls and constant talking about Dylan. She decided to help her out a little, asking Dylan if he knew who Evelina was and so on. She didnt say to much though , just that Evelina liked him and he should ask her out.  If Evelina found out , she would kill me Cindy thought to herself. She crossed her fingers under the table hoping the date would go perfect.

'' I dont know ! He has obviously liked me for a long time and got the guts to ask me out '' Evelina answered.

'' See , I always said that he was crazy about you '' Cindy answered back , slightly sarcastic. But Evelina didnt take any notice.

Evelina dug into her handbag and took out two twix bars.

'' Hungry ? '' she asked.

'' Your killing me '' Cindy moaned , she felt how her mouth became watery and her stomach started to rumble.

'' Wait , are you still on that diet ?'' Evelina asked.

Cindy nodded in reply '' 2 days so far '' she groaned.

A girl named Anna raised towards their table.

'' Is it to late to hand this in? '' Anna asked panting , she had been looking for Cindy all over the school.

'' No '' Cindy said and smiled. She looked at the paper and scanned it  ,'' This is nice ''.

'' Well , I'm glad you like it . Is it ok if I sit here , I wouldnt disturb you guys right?'' Anna asked.

Cindy glanced at Evelina for approval . Evelina laughed ''  Sure. I have to taddle along anyway '' she said  '' Bye ''  she waved.

Anna sat next to Cindy  '' Can you tell me what I should improve ? ''

Cindy glanced at the clock , it was four thirty. '' Sure'' she purred reading through the article.

Evelina walked around the corner , she stopped - shocked. She felt her heart pound faster and words failed to come out from her mouth.

She just stood there , looking like a fish.

''I-I-I can explain '' George , with brown hair and sea green eyes stuttered. He was caught embracing and kissing Camilla.

Camilla stood frozen , nervously looking around her '' Dont you dare tell anyone '' she hissed. Her lips were tight and the brown eyes stared at Evelina.

'' Dont tell Cindy '' George begged. Camilla broke free from his arms and walked away.

'' If you tell Cindy it will break her '' he tried again.

'' How can you do that to her?'' Evelina said shaken '' She's your girlfriend ! .. M-m-my friend !''

'' Listen , we've been together for 7 months. Dont you dare break it '' George whispered sharply , standing so close to Evelina she could see his freckles that otherwise weren't visible. He looked at her with challenging eyes '' Dont you dare ''.

He pulled Evelina closer to him , she could feel his breath on her skin. He looked into her eyes , and their lips almost brushed against eachother. '' If you tell her , you will regret it. It will hurt Cindy '' He paused . Evelina breathed harder , scared that he would hurt her. '' ... And will hurt you too. ''
