Bitter Sweet 7

Cindy slung her brown Louis Vuitton on her shoulder and put on her Prada sunglasses, flicked her long blonde hair and grunted in frustration.

She watched Jordan standing in front of his locker taking out his basketball and bounced and dribbled it on his way out from the school building.

She ran catching up with him and lay her hand on his shoulder

 '' How could you say that about me ?'' she protested.

'' I thought girls like you didn’t have feelings ''

Cindy's mouth dropped '' Just because I’m a girl, blonde and - ''

Jordan chuckled and dribbled the basketball between his legs '' Listen '' he stopped dribbling his ball

'' Why are you even talking to me in the first place. Don’t you have better things to do ? ''

Cindy straightened her back '' As a matter of fact - ''  , she paused and sighed '' No ''.

Jordan chuckled

 '' Yeah I can tell. If you did ,  you wouldnt care what  I said. Your just talking to me , to amuse yourself.Right?''

'' Well '' she sighed '' I’m just tired '' she paused thinking '' Tired of everything thinking Im a bimbo ''

'' Ok , so I am Dr.Phil?'' Jordan joked dribbling past her.

Cindy lowered her sunglasses and squinted her eyes at him and put her sunglasses back on. She sighed and applied pink lipgloss on her lips and took out a small mirror from her pocket and gazed at her reflection.

Jordan stopped bouncing the basketball  '' You know. Your asking for it ''

'' Asking for what ? '' Cindy asked , slightly offended.

'' Well. I don’t know '' Jordan shrugged '' People would maybe take you more seriously if you stopped applying lip gloss every 10 seconds''

She shrugged, almost ignoring his comment. He walked up to her and moved closer

 '' I swear your lips are kissable. Don’t be tempted to apply lip gloss every 10 seconds. Just chill ''

'' Uh , I have a boyfriend . Back off '' she snapped.

'' Oooh '' Jordan purred '' I wasnt trying to hit on you. Get over yourself ''

'' And besides '' Jordan started ''  Why arent you with your boyfriend , after all it's a Friday ... '' his voice trailed off.

'' Better question. What are you doing without your homies?'' Cindy teased.

He shrugged .

'' Exactly '' Cindy snapped.

'' Well , It's 5 pm. Im going to the court in 3 hours then I'll be with my homies.Whats your excuse?''

'' I dont have any . I was going to be with my boyfriend but - '' she paused , thinking of a reasonable excuse '' I canceled it ''

Jordan looked closer at her '' Wait , isnt your boyfriend that snob. Damn , I cant re-call his name ''

'' What snob ? My boyfriend certainly isnt a snob ! ''

He snapped his fingers '' Yes. Now I know , George . Right ? ''

'' Um , yeah '' Cindy answered slightly embarassed.

'' Atleast he's not a gangster wannabe '' Cindy snapped back .

'' Gangster wannabe? '' Jordan laughed '' Im certainly not a gangster wannabe ''

'' Just like I'm not some egocentric bimbo '' .

He shrugged and started bouncing his ball again. '' Why are you following me?''

'' I-I-I am not following you '' Cindy stuttered, though soon realised that was what she had been doing.

'' So where are you going ? '' he challenged her.

'' Im just walking around . What, is it illegal walking on the ground you walk in?''

He dribbled the ball past Cindy and walked backwards facing her , towards his house

'' No.I wouldnt mind a hot girl like you following me all the way to my house ''
