Chapter 1 -

I don’t know which was worse - the day my father's business collapsed or when he told us that we were moving. My dad had been given a great business offer which he couldn’t turn down. Unfortunately, we had to move from our comfortable small town to the big city. Which I guess would be a thrill for most teenage girls, but not me...

Here I stand, tears trickling down my cheeks. Closing my eyes in pain with images flickering inside my head - the first time I met Chad - our first kiss, touch and the first time we made love. It is almost impossible for me to control my breathing, the pain is too much - unbearable and it feels like I'm dying. I rested my right hand on my heart trying to control my breathing, but it was to hard and painful. My heart was slowly tearing apart.

Chad stroked my cheek, gazed into my brown eyes and gave me a soft sensual kiss.

'' It will be OK '' he whispered '' I will love you, forever... ''

I wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him tightly.

'' I don’t want to let you go '' I whispered back.

'' Me neither '' he replied, stroking my brown long hair.

I glanced over my shoulder; my dad was impatiently waiting in the car. The car was loaded with packing’s, we were all set and ready to go , the only thing holding us back was me.

'' I'm scared '' I whispered, my voice shaking.

A gentle smiled spread across his face '' Don’t be '' he encouraged. '' I will wait you. And nothing will tear us apart''

He took my hand and held it tightly, gazing into my eyes. Making me feel all warm inside. Just like the first time we kissed. Oh Chad, this cant possibly be happening to us ..

I glanced over my shoulder once again, and I noticed that my father was glaring at me.

I looked at Chad, I guess he noticed that time was running out because he bent down and passionately kissed me.

'' Goodbye, my love''

I nodded in pain '' I love you .. ''

'' Your everything to me'' he replied .

I tried holding my tears back and tried to smile, but it was almost impossible.

I realized it was time to let go, I slowly walked to the car. Every step I took further from Chad tormented my soul.

I stood by the door for a minute , trying to relax and breathe. I took a deep breathe and opened the car door. I leaned my head on the car seat and tears were trickling down my cheeks.

'' You alright, darling’?  My father asked, worried.

I nodded, I couldn’t speak - the pain..  is too much.

My father turned the key and the car started. Right then, at that moment my heart shattered to pieces.

I looked out the car window and saw Chad wave goodbye, I bit my lip, trying to control

the heartache. I had found the true love of my life, only to be separated from him.
