Here we go…

PRELUDE:

A beat. A loud pulsing heartbeat. Boom, boom, boom it beats faster than ever before. Adrenaline pumps in. The vibrant blue apparent within her devilish eyes. They shift from one side to the other.

Only darkness surrounds her.

Panic quickly arises. The sweat begins to form upon her. Claustrophobia and heat engulfs her within the small tomb.

This is the end for her. A sickness erupts in her and illusions claim her as the lack of oxygen  begins to strangle her.

“This is the last day of your normal life…” A male voice speaks through the darkness. “But only Hell is to come once you are gone, but I can grant you one last wish. A wish for revenge. Care to take up the offer?”

“Alyce!” A voice yelled loudly.

“What?” A girl quickly rose her head up. She saw from under her a desk with paper down before, a computer and other office supplies.

“Damn it! Sleep on your own time. Do you have the reports finished?” A grey haired man growled at the girl.

“Ah…” She began to rummage and pulled out a large stack of papers. “I finished them all last night. I was up till around three in the morning.” She sighed a bit. The man quickly pulled them away from her.

“I don’t care about your matters, just do your work. This should have already been done days ago. Stop slacking off so much.” He then turned away from her.

“Sorry…” She whispered as she hid behind her glasses.

Alyce fumbled with her long dark hair as she replaced her bun that pulled her hair back and as she tried to fumble with her long fringes that kept on falling in front of her right eye. She then fixed her gray pinstriped vest and rolled up her sleeves to her white button up shirt. She felt so exhausted for some reason.

Carefully she looked up as a young man seemed to walk by. She felt so tiny behind the desk, be she being tiny anyways, she just felt like a small ant. A smaller desk would had been so much easier for her to manage. She tried to keep it clean but it was of false hope for her. Even her quietness kept her from talking back to her boss.

Feverishly she typed on the computer that her pale blue eyes stared into for hours behind her glasses. It was close for her work to end, something she was definitely hopeful about. She did not really hate her job as a secretary, but her boss seemed to really string all of her wrong cords without any end. It was a pain, but she was lucky to even still have a job.

“Hello?” The man’s voice from earlier spoke. Alyce looked up and looked at him with wide eyes. “Why are you spacing out?” He growled at her. Alyce had not noticed that she had stopped typing. It seemed that something was missing today, but her mind seemed to go blank every time she was trying to think of it.

“Ah… Sorry…” Alyce then looked at the clock and looked back at the man then stood up with a slight bow. “I’m sorry, but I need to make my leave now.”

“No you will not. You’re working over time today as punishment for not finishing these sooner.” He glared at the girl.

“But, they were due today…” Alyce spoke back at him with slight annoyance in her voice.

“You’re talking back? Shall I make you stay longer?”

“Well… I was hoping to leave soon to prepare for the holidays…” Alyce frowned lightly to the man.

“I don’t care. You should have done it sooner, besides what friends do you have to shop for?” He rolled his eyes to her.

“I… Well, I would have liked to send my parents something.” Alyce spoke quietly.

“I have filing I want you to do and lists to make for the Christmas party next weekend. I don’t care if you have to shop today or not. I want this finished before you leave work.” He then picked up his briefcase and strolled off past two sets of automatic doors and got into the elevator.

“Are you fucking kidding me!” She yelled once the elevator door closed and slammed her fist hard on the desk. “Disgusting old man.” Her eyes looked over at the stack he left on her desk. “What a dick…” She then carefully unbuttoned a button from her vest and another one on her white shirt to relive a little tension. “This is a disaster…” She laid her head upon her desk.

“Oh come now little Alyce. It’s not too bad.” A gentle male voice spoke and instantly her head went up.

“Ah! Mr. Alexander!” Alyce said loudly in surprise. He was actually that ‘disgusting’, old man’s son. Alyce lightly blushed when she realized someone had heard her. She felt a bit embarrassed showing her more barbaric side, especially in front of such a gorgeous man.

“Don’t worry. I won’t tell that disgusting dirty old man what you said. Please call me Eros.” He chuckled a bit as his blonde hair kissed the side of his face and a bit of his left eye. His smile was wide and warming.

“It’s been getting annoying lately. I always hate the holiday seasons, because I am always working over time. Even last year I wasn’t able to celebrate… My birthday!” Alyce yelled loudly the last part. Out of working for so many days she had completely lost track of time and even forgotten her own birthday out of it. She placed her hand to her face in a sigh.

“How about I help you and afterwards I take you to dinner.” He winked at her with a smirk upon his face as his aquamarine eyes watched her with such excitement. “I was really hoping on finding out when it was anyways.”

“It’s against company policy to date co-workers…” Alyce frowned at him.

“Think of it as a birthday party dinner…” He grinned again at her as he took off the grey scarf he had on over a green long sleeved button up shirt and black dress jacket. “The company will pay.  My dad knows I am always eating out. So I’d like to take a partner this time. The food tastes much better than eating alone, or if you already have plans with friends, I can still help though.”

“No!” She answered immediately and paused a second with a slight blush as he looked at her confused. He was just so beautiful to her every time her eyes even gazed upon such a Greek God’s body. “I mean.. I don’t have any other plans… I really haven’t had anytime to make any friends really since I’ve moved here and took up this job… It seems like I am here from eight till ten even longer on the weekdays, and on weekends all I can do is sleep and try and improve my art and writing. I am not really one to go out a lot unless I need to get groceries… Ah!” Alyce sighed a bit with a slight blush upon her face. “Sorry. I didn’t mean to ramble…”

“No. It’s fine. You’re always so quiet anyways, so about dinner? Would you please come along. Just one night is all I ask.” He rested his head upon his elbows with an innocent smile upon his face as he leaned upon her desk. He was ever so close to her that it was hard for her to resist, besides one night would not kill her.

“Well… One night. That’s it.” Alyce sighed a bit with a smile.

“Great now lets get everything in order and finish this work.” He grabbed up the papers and went over to her side of the desk.

“Right!” Alyce smiled at him.

~*~

“Okay last on the list is Kyle Zenner.” Eros looked over her shoulder as she typed in the list of names. “This was the last thing on the list to do. So now we can get ready to go.” Another gentle smile of his sent Alyce into slight shivers of excitement.

“What a relief… I would have been stuck here for another three more hours than only two. I appreciate this so much.” Alyce rested her head back with a smile as she tried to calm herself in front of him. Ever since he had began to speak with her, her nerves had been eating at her all night.

“Now all that’s needed is that dinner.” He hovered over close to her face. She slightly blushed and looked back at her computer. A light panic attack would definitely had been induced if she did not look away.

“Ahh… Right, right.” She said lightly, then stood up. “First I need to get the papers from the copy room. Wait here. It’ll only take a second.” He nodded off to her as she ran off into the other room.

She turned on the light to the printer and copying room. It oddly flashed a few times, almost as if it was to go out, but stopped after a few seconds. She looked at it oddly but shook her head to ignore it. She grabbed the stack of papers that where already finished printing. There was a few more as she stood there waiting. Slowly her eyes moved over towards the large windows. The city was ablaze with many lights even if it was already midnight. It was quite beautiful though. Recently they had been planting trees in such urban places since a law in 2011 was passed and a lot of the trees have been growing fast, the pollution seems to have been slowly filtered out by the oxygen producing trees. And to think it was only about two years ago that the trees were planted and they were almost the size of a two story building and reaching a third story building.

She sat in a near by chair as her eyes looked out. It was almost 2012. A year everyone seemed to be freaking out about, but just like Y2K, she knew nothing would happen.

However her thinking was jammed once something had caught her eyes. Something strange, something white had blurred farther down the floors. She took a long look at it and backed away from the window slowly. It looked like a person with long white hair flying with black wings. His neon blue eyes had made contact with her eyes and instantly she stopped completely. He grinned at her as he came closer towards the window. She began to feel light headed and as fast as the man came, was about as fast as his exit was. She quickly felt her legs collapse from under her and her breath instantly came back to her as her dizziness began to subside. She was not to sure if it was just an illusion due to her lack of sleep or her imagination, but she quickly got up and collected her papers then turned off the lights as she hurried out of the room.

“Hm? You okay?” Eros asked her once she came back. “You look pale like something frightened you…” He looked at her face closely.

“Ah… It’s nothing. I always get like this, because of heights and how many windows there are in the copying room.” Alyce smiled nervously as she made sure the papers were in order and began to staple them. She felt very tense and nervous. She had no idea what she saw but his face kept on playing over and over in her mind, she needed to get out and get her mind on something else.

“How are you able to take the elevator here then?” He looked at her oddly. The elevator in the building had an outside part as it moved down the fifty story building and due to her luck they were at the fiftieth floor with only the owner’s office, her desk area and Eros’s office being here, along with a copy room, bathroom, a small cafeteria and other necessities for the three of them and clients.

“I usually just try and awe myself with the city lights. It’s not as bad at night, but those windows being slanted out don’t really help.” She then made sure the stack was nice and neat before she placed them down on a center table in her boss’s office.

“Ready?” Eros asked as he impatiently sat upon her hard wooden desk.

“Almost.” She quickly grabbed her large jacket for the cold, then her large black work tote. She then turned off the computer and grabbed her keys from the tote and locked the boss’s door, then Eros’s door, then placed the keys back in and pulled out a plastic key card. “Alright we just have to make our way out and I can lock each door from then on.” Alyce spoke as they walked past the first set of automatic clear glass doors that needed the key card to open them from the other side. Once they passed it quickly closed and she imputed a number key code and sliced the key card through, then they went through another set of doors and she did the same thing, then finally she made it to the elevator.

They made their way out of the elevator and into the lobby where a security guard waved to them and wished them a good night. It was sort of quiet between them as Alyce noticed, but once she did she felt strangely odd… Even once she felt the cold snowy night air, it did not even seem to affect her, something else had been tickling at the back of her brain as she walked with him.

“I’ve always loved this time of year. Snow, Christmas and New Year’s… They’re always nice.” Eros smiled as they walked out to the street as they left the building. Alyce jumped a bit from his voice suddenly speaking in the quiet night.

“Yeah… It’s been a while since I’ve celebrated Christmas with my family.” Alyce lightly smiled as she watched the snow fall.

“Oh? How long ago?” He looked at her curiously.

“Um… At least two years… I don’t really keep in touch. Since I’ve moved here two years ago I haven’t been able to keep in touch. You know with work and such.” She lightly frowned at him and kept her peace. Her head was slightly hung low.

“Why so much?” He asked as they began to walk down the street.

“I need money for my rent, food, my cat, clothing, all of those things. I still have student loans I am almost done paying off, But hopefully once they are paid off, the money I was making for it can now go in for a vacation I’ve been wanting to take. I’ve been lucky to save up all of my days over these past two years. I really want to go to a foreign country.”

“No sick days? You’ve worked non-stop?” He looked at her with wide eyes.

“Yeah… I am usually lucky to get sick on the weekends.” She smiled with a slight giggle.

“So a cat you say. Is it your only friend here in this big city?” He asked as he directed her down a street.

“Yeah. He’s as close as family comes. I really don’t want to be referred to as the old cat lady, you know… But animals are surprisingly pretty trustful, that is if you have a small temper.” She laughed a bit.

“You know you’re quite a beautiful woman.” He spoke with a grin upon his face as he changed the topic on her cat. Alyce caught it and knew he probably thought she was weird, but it was even weirder what he spoke.

“Eh… Well… Not sure how to respond to that. It’s been years since anyone said that…” Alyce blushed a bit. She felt odd when people spoke. She was not exactly media material, because of her lack of fashion now a days, especially when she has to keep her mind always focused upon her work.

“Just say ‘thank you.’” He chuckled a little.

“Sorry…” She lightly smiled to him.

“Oh here it is. You like Italian, I hope.” He said after they came to what looked like such a high class Italian restaurant.

“Oh. No objections. I am not exactly the picky type when it comes to food.” Which she knew was true, especially after the past week when all she had eaten is ramen noodles and microwavable dinners. Not exactly the glamour life for her, but then again she had no time to cook and was spending her money on other things.

“Who knew? You seem like the picky kids type.” He grinned at her as she showed him a pouting face. “I was joking.” He chuckled a little. “I am actually not to sure about you. I’ve only seen and watched you a few times, but never really talked to you. Your outburst today caught my attention. It was quite funny.” Alyce gave him a stunned look but just sighed bit and was about to speak till she noticed they were walking through the opened glass doors. Now a days almost every building had glass windows and doors placed in them. They were nice and could easily be decorated in any way, even microchips would flash the signs of the place up and even show menus, or advertise, even show what was on television on certain stations. The technology was really booming over the years.

“Ah. Mr. Alexander, not eating alone tonight? Same table as usual?” A man with an Italian accent spoke once they were inside. Alyce looked around as she was in awe of the place. It was beautifully decorated. The warm tones of rusted red and deep golds entangles the place with a side of amazing creams. It seemed so fairy tale-like as Alyce’s eyes gazed about. It was wonderful to see. She knew this place had to be expensive. How odd it was for her to be in such a place.

“Ah. Yes please. Is the red ready for me as usual?” Eros spoke to the man so nicely.

“Yes it is being served now, along with another glass for the young lady.” The man then led them off down the various isles of the restaurant.

“Very good.” Eros smiled as he followed off towards the table that was already being served with wine. Eros pulled out a chair and motioned Alyce sit down. She shyly looked at him then carefully sat down and he immediately pushed her in, then he took his seat.

“I shouldn’t be drinking this.” Alyce frowned once the wine server left as she examined the glass.  The red danced upon the table as the light reflected into it. It was very beautiful to look at as Alyce stared.

“Why is that?” He smiled. “Wine is always wonderful with a meal.”

“Yes… I know, but I am such a light drinker.” She blushed a bit.

“I swear every time I looked at you and hear you babble on, you remind of such a little kid.” He chuckled a bit at her as he spoke in a sincere tone. “How old are you really anyways?”

“As of today I am twenty-two.” Alyce frowned. “I may look much younger, but I am legally a twenty-two year old, if you want more proof I can pull out my driver’s licensee…” Alyce smirked at him as she took a small piece of bread that was placed there once they had arrived.

“No, no. I’ll believe you for right now.” He smiled as he took a sip of wine. Alyce also decided to try a taste. “I always wondered why my old man choose you as a secretary for such a large company…” He watched her.

Alyce slightly smiled after taking a sip. The wine was really sweet, the sweetest she had ever had. She seemed to have zoned out into a world of her own for a few seconds. It was a burst of flavor. She could not even remember the last time she had wine. All she knew that it was definitely long ago, but it had never tasted so wonderful to her. A slight smile was placed upon her lips as she took in another sip, again an explosion of flavor erupted within her mouth. It was definitely something she would come to love.

“Alyce?” Eros spoke.

“Hm? Oh sorry…” She laughed a bit nervously. “It’s been a while since I’ve had wine…”

“You know if you look like that people make think you’re a ditzy girl, maybe my father wanted you because of that…. He hasn’t made a pass at you has he?” He gave her such a serious face. Alyce gave him a weird look but blushed a bit. She noticed she was just spacing out like always by accident again.

“Oh no. But he has hinted off to lecherous things, but it’s nice to sometimes have people think of me being a bit unfocused. I actually had a 2.9 GPA from high school and raised to a 4.0 in college. I am a lot more intelligent than I seem. I just wonder at times within my mind, thinking of stories or pictures to keep me entertained. It’s an artist thing, you know?” Alyce lightly smiled. “Sorry if I sound a bit conceited…” Alyce then sighed a bit nervously.

“So he either hired you for your intelligence, or your looks and body. He’s usually very picky on who’s his secretary. He usually uses them for a few months for his own fun, but once they make a bad mistake or he gets tired of them, he just throws them away.  You however have lasted the longest without doing anything sexual, but what’s funny is that he can’t fire you because you are always putting in so much effort and finishing your work on time, even if he tries and change the dates. It’s a bit funny to me, but I have a feeling he’s going to be planning something soon. He hasn’t gotten any since you’ve worked here, or maybe he has by hiring woman for that job.” He warned her a bit with a slight sigh as he took a piece of bread now.

“Well, recently he’s been wanting things done before the deadline, so I am not sure if he expects me to bow down and get on my knees. Sorry but I have standards. If he does plan something perverted to do to me, then I will surely quit or file a sexual harassment suit, but I doubt it’ll work with him, since he’s so high up there. He probably can also affect my next job if I apply at some place new, but whatever. I am not some girl who sleeps with their boss for a raise.” Alyce waved finger lightly in a negative manner. She hated the thought of even doing something with such a disgusting man.

“Can I take your orders?” Alyce almost jumped when she heard the Italian voice near her.

“Ah… I was wondering when you’d finally come.” Eros smiled. Alyce looked a bit confused. She had realized they never even got menus. “Two orders of the Tiramisu please.”

“Alright, anything else?” The man bowed.

“Um, two cups of your best coffee. I am almost done with my wine.” He looked over and saw Alyce’s glass already empty. She blushed a bit at him and looked away from him. “So is my friend.” Alyce could not help how wonderful the taste had tickled her taste buds. It just felt wonderful to her.

“Alright, two Tiramisu, and two coffees.” He was then gone.

“You know it’s not good to treat a girl to such sweet things so late in the night.” Alyce frowned at him, but then smiled a bit with a light giggle.

“Oh, are you on a diet. I’m sorry.” He smiled bit as he cocked one eyebrow at her.

“No. I am not thank you.” She huffed a bit at him. “I’d rather be fat than be anorexic and not eat any wonderful food.” Alyce the laughed a bit as she nibbled a bit on another roll of bread.

“Than just enjoy it as you would with a birthday cake among friends, besides their Tiramisu, is miraculous.” Eros winked at her with a smile.

“Alright, alright you got me sold.” Alyce giggled lightly and finished her bread roll.

~*~

“Ah… That was so wonderful!” Alyce stretched her arms once they were outside the restaurant. The night air felt nice, even if it was around thirty degrees. Her stomach was full of wine, coffee and a sweet tiramisu.

“I’ve never seen a girl eat something so quickly, actually I’ve never seen a women drink wine so quickly either.” Eros laughed at her as they walked slowly down the street.

“Oh whatever.” Alyce giggled. “Anyways. I must be off. My apartment is a few blocks down, so I’ll be fine walking alone, you should be heading home.” Alyce smiled as she waved off to him as she took a few steps from him.

“Awww… No kiss?” He said in a low voice with a smile as he watched her off.

“Ahhh... Today has definitely been nice, but it is too soon to be asking a prude girl like me for such a thing. Maybe another time?” She waved off to him as he smiled at her and also turned a different direction.

Alyce grinned to herself as she walked down the street, she then paused for a second. There was a Catholic cathedral right near her apartment building. She had always seen it everyday, but it seemed odd to her at this time of night. One of it’s doors were opened and inside looked like a fire to her. Her eyes widen at the sight and quickly her feet took off towards it, but she had quickly stopped once she peered into the large door way.

It seemed only to be the alter was ablaze with millions of candles. Her eyes were wide at the sight. It looked so beautiful to her. She slowly made her way in as she said a small Hello, but she continued in anyways when no one answered. The cathedral was so magnificent and enormous in size. The ceiling stretch so high into the heavens. Her eyes seemed to look around for any figures of the priest, but still nothing. The place was as tall as it was long. It took her a bit just to finally reach the alter.

It was odd to her though. A strange feeling weld up inside of her and just as that happened a large gust of wind sent shivers down her spine, as it too sent shivers to the flames making them move wildly. They however went out in a wave and all was dark. Only a few lights along the poles holding up the church lit up the Cathedral in a dull light. It seemed like a horror movie to her as she looked around. Her breath paused and she felt her body go numb. Her face became as pale as the very snow outside. A hand rested upon her shoulder. She closed her eyes in fright.

“What’s a younger girl like you doing here so late? Did something bad happen my child?” A soft voice spoke to her.

Alyce turned and saw the old priest standing before her with a light smile. She looked into his eyes that seemed very tired and warned out. She could feel her body become normal again. She really hated how easily her body would freeze up to such small things.

“Ah… No. I was walking by and foolishly thought the place was on fire after seeing all the candles…” Alyce spoke as her eyes looked around curiously.

“The candles…? They seemed to have gone out.” The man looked over at the alter. “I am curious as of how you got in here?” The man spoke with a frown. “I almost thought you were a burglar.”

“Oh no!” Alyce shook her head and placed her hands up and shook her head. “I am not a burglar. I just happen to see the door open so late at ni-”

“SLAM!” Alyce quickly turned at the noise and saw the door shut.

“Oh how troubling…” The priest spoke as he looked at her in a worried tone.

“Hm?” Alyce looked at him confused.

“I was really hoping that the candles going out was not of your business, but it seems they were, and the slamming of the door proves it.”

“What? It was just the wind outside.” Alyce began to back away from the man.

“No, no. The wind is not that bad outside, especially not enough to blow out these candles in a single burst.” The priest smiled as he shook his head at her. “I’m afraid I’ll have to terminate you. It is my job to keep anyone with an abnormal ability silent. You see, only God should posses such powers.” The priest smiled as he pulled out a strange device. It was a shiny metal disk that seemed to be made of sliver and gold, with a red gem upon the top of it. He light pressed the gem and instantly it opened up. What came next stunned Alyce.

Small disks came flying out from the odd relic. They began to morph and change into what looked like locus. Alyce shook her head and tried to get her head straight as she watched the things lightly hover. She began to slowly take a few steps back.

“What the Hell is this?” Alyce spoke in a low tone as she watched the mechanical bugs moved around the man,

“My pets.” He smiled. “They get ride of any evil that threatens me and right now your presence in this world is threatening everyone, which includes me.” He looked up at the things.

“You can’t do this. I thought it was against your teachings to kill.” Alyce kept of moving away slowly.

“Oh it is, but if one is needed to be killed to save thousands, we will act upon it.” He looked back at her one last time as his unchanging grin still was planted upon his face. “It’s time exercise this freakish girl my pets.”

After his last word Alyce was off and quickly ran towards the door. The humming noise was driving her insane. They could not be to far from her. It was not till she hit the door that everything fell silent. She paused a second and looked back. The candles were all lit and the priest was gone. Nothing seemed to have changed. She caught her breath a bit and turned towards the door. The cold stinging wind caught her. A loud gasp escaped her mouth. With one last glance back she was running off towards her apartment.

                ~*~

“Oh you’re back early, Ms. Aerie.” The manager at the front desk smiled at her lightly once she walked in through the doors of the hotel. She had an apartment here, for a good price also. The owner was a kind woman that offered Alyce the place for a low price ever since Alyce offered to do some odd jobs with art at the place. “Did Mr. Alexander keep you up with work again? Such an awful man.”

“Nope. I was helped by his son of all people, who also treated me to a nice Birthday dinner.” Alyce slightly caught her breath a bit.

“Oh! Well, Happy Birthday Ms. Aerie… Are you alright? You seem tired?”

“Oh no… I am fine. The cold is just really getting to my lungs, so it really hurts, but I am feeling much better.” Alyce smiled lightly to him.

“I see… Well have a good nights rest. I heard a major storm is coming in soon. You don’t want to be awoken by that.” The man smiled at her.

“Thanks.” Alyce bowed lightly to him and then walked off. She smiled and waved at the guards who smiled at her with a nod. In a rush she made her way towards the elevator and clicked the button for thirteen, a lucky number for her. And unlike other places, this hotel we not one bit superstitious. Alyce was not either, especially with black cats. Something good always happened when she meet one.

Once she reached her floor, her feet rushed in their walking as they made their way towards her room. Carefully, but quickly she pulled out her plastic keycard and placed it into the card slot. It clicked and instantly she opened the door and was greeted by a loud meowing cat.

“What is it now?” Alyce looked at him oddly. “You still have food and water, so what is it?” Alyce sighed but ignored him as his vibrant blue eyes stared up at her. “Weird cat…” She made her way from the small hall into the living area then off to the side where the kitchen was placed. She pulled a glass cup from the cupboard and began to fill it with water. The cat lightly rubbed against her grey pinstripe pants. “Come now Loki. You’re being annoying.” She watched him as his sleek long black body still rubbed against her.

After the cup was full she made her way into her room, then after she took another sip of water she placed it down and fell straight on to the bed. Her mind began to focus upon her breathing as she laid still for a bit. The warmth of the cat that laid next to her comforted her a bit. Pain struck in her mind a bit as she began to think about what had happened this evening.

Was it a dream? A vivid thought? A hallucination? Or was something mentally wrong with her? No way it could have been something real. Stuff like this never happens in this normal of a world.

Alyce sat back up as she began to unbutton her vest then blouse, but she removed her pants first, then got up and walked into the bathroom. Lightly she laid the pants on the table top of the counter then took off the vest and shirt and laid then upon the pants. Her eyes went over to a cupboard and she slowly opened it. It seemed the sleep was beginning to affect her. She pulled out a tank top and placed it on, then she made her way back to the bed and instantly curled in it. A pair of eyes watched her from the nearby pillow. Loki seemed to blend in nicely with the black sheets and pillow cases. With a light smile at him she turned off the lights and snuggled up close to him. Her only true good friend in this city.
