That night, Ashley spent the night with me. We stayed up most of the night trying to figure out what we were going to do next.

We figured,if the kid who knows everything in town didn't know, we would have to actually go in the house ourselves and check it out.

"Wake up girls." My mom said opening my bedroom door slowly.

I groaned and turned over, Ashley got up immediately like she was told.

"Nicole, why can't you be more like Ashley and do as your told?" My mom sighed.

I looked at Ashley giving her the death glare. My mom always compared me to her. It's not my fault Ashley is scared of my parents.

 The only reason she is scared because, when we first became friends, Ashley never listened and did as I did. Well, my parents talked to her parents about it and, she got grounded for two months. She is scared that if she does something wrong, my parents will tell hers again.

I rolled over again and got up fixing my side of the bed since Ashley already made her side.

"What do you girls want for breakfast?" My mom scratched her head folding her arms.

"We'll just have cereal and toast mom." I told her brushing my hair. "We're going to leave after breakfast if that is Okay." I looked at her seeing if it was.

"That's fine, me and your father will be going to the store after breakfast anyway. I'll wake your brother up, make sure you guys are careful when you go out." my mom said shutting my door behind her as she left.

"My nerves are shaking." Ashley complained. "Maybe we shouldn't go." She whined.

That's always the best part about doing something you shouldn't ever be doing.(Having someone who doesn't want to do it.)

"It's going to be fine." I laughed. "Now get dressed and I'll meet you downstairs." I said grabbing my clothes and going into the bathroom across the hall.

After breakfast, when my parents left, we filled Dylan in on the news that we found out. He told he would go with us to the house but, he said we should go tonight when no one can see us go in there.

"we'll have to watch out for the neighborhood night watchers though." He said rubbing his chin sitting in his computer chair than was turned facing Ashley and I on the bed.

"Hello? We can just go out my window and go in the back door over there." I said smacking the top of my head with my palm.

"What? I don't do windows. Besides, what if my parents don't let me spend another night?" Ashley whined.

"They will, and if they don't, then we'll come get you." I reassured her.

"This could be fun." Dylan smirked at us twirling his chair around to his computer. "I'll make a list of things we might need in case we see a ghost or something." he said grabbing a piece of paper and a pen out of his drawer in his desk.

"We'll need some money." I pointed out. "I got about ten dollars in my piggy bank." I laughed.

"I got about eighteen." Dyaln said typing on his computer. "That I'm willing to give anyway." He added.

"I have about thirty that I'm willing to give." Ashley smiled.

"That should be enough." I grinned. "We'll be back then Dylan." I said standing up.

"Where are we going?" Ashley whispered to me.

"To go get your money." I laughed. "Now come on." I said pulling her behind me out of Dylan's room down the stairs out the door.
