So Is It Faith (2)

Romance Created on 11-21-07 Views(195) Story Rating G
Someone caressed my shoulder from behind and whispered, fits you nicely, in my ear. I turned around and there he was. It took a moment to figure out what he was doing here, and then it clicked. He was one of the new clientele. I gave him a small smile, still not being able to speak. He smiled and walked across the room to sit in front of me. We try to keep employees on one side of the room and clientele on the other side. What was I to do, I thought to myself. I could not sit here for the next hour across from him. What if I was asked a question, would I be able to speak. I seem to have a speaking problem when he is around. Ugh, I screamed inside. I felt like crying but I knew that would draw more attention then the stunned expression on my face. I thought of excuse after excuse to get out of this meeting, but none made enough sense for my boss to believe. Well, I guess I was stuck sitting across from the sexiest man alive for the next hour. Hopefully no one asks me anything.  The meeting began like every meeting, with my boss introducing the new clientele and then telling them about each of his employees, what they specialize in and the past work they have done. Then it moved on to each clientele explaining what they need done and asking questions to the staff members they are most interested in. There were six new clientele teams around the table at this meeting. I made it through the first three without being asked anything. The fourth client, however, was the gentleman from the sandwich shop, the man sitting across from me. The man who was so darn sexy I could not keep my eyes off of him, and I couldn’t speak to. He kept his attention on me the entire time he was explaining the concept he wanted for his business. He said he owned a real estate company and a travel agency.  He currently has a website for each, but he wanted them combined together for consistency and to make it easy for the users. After explaining some of the ideas he had for his site, he diverted his attention from me to my boss named Mr. McCoy. He told my boss that he wanted me and only me to work on his website. He said that he fully trusted that I would do an outstanding job and that I was to contact him if I had any questions. He handed me a business card then walked out the door The meeting had ended and I was back at my desk. I was trying to catch up on work, but my mind was elsewhere. All I could think was him. I sat at my desk staring at his business card. The card was very well designed and more on the fancy side. In big, bold letter there it was his name. He was no longer a mystery guy to me. He had a name which was Nathaniel Grant. I sat there contemplating on calling him. Then I contemplated on emailing him. What would I say, I thought to myself. I decided against it and finally began to focus on my outstanding work
