I Just Can't Live A Lie (2)I might have some different POV's in the next couple of chapters, so keep that in mind. Also, I know that this chapter and the last one was in the present tense, but I think I'm going to make it in the past. idk, sorry if it switches back and fourth. Enjoy!

After this big party Aunt Lori and Shawn threw me, I decided to ask Shawn for some advice on Bradin. Shawn's a great friend. I could always count on him. It would be miserable if Lori and Shawn broke up. Shawn's just right for Aunt Lori.
"Hey Shawn, can we talk?" I ask, as Shawn and Tyler were doing the dishes. I know that sounds odd for guys to do the dishes, but Lori and Susan were always busy with the next fashion show, and neither on of us kids were going to do them.
"Sure go ahead," he responds.
I want it to be private without Tyler, because Tyler was friends with Bradin. It would just seem weird saying that I was in love with his best friend.
"Ok," I hesitate. "I met this one boy at my gymnastics camp and..." Tyler purses his lips. Oh no, what's he going to say now?
"Are you talking about Bradin?" he questions.
I sigh. "Yeah."
"Who's Bradin?" Shawn asks. "Oh wait! You mean your friend Bradin, right?"
I daze down at the ground. Great! Now, Tyler knows; I just hope he doesn't tell Bradin that, or everything will be gone, forever.
"Lilly, I just want to make it clear to you, he most likely won't like you back the way you want him too." Bradin states. "He's got a girlfriend you know."
"WHAT?" I shout, but not too loud.
Was he serious, or just playing me? Bradin? God, why could you have told me before? I had my hopes all up, hoping that he'd be able to be with me. Another wrong answer for Lilly.
"He's had a girlfriend for as long as I can remember." he replies.
I grin and just stroll away. I wasn't expecting that to fly back at me. I know that he's 17 and most of them have girlfriend's already, except for Tyler. He just does not have the lucky with girls.
I hear Tyler yelling something at me, but I didn't know what he said. Shawn came running up behind me before I start walk out the door.
"Lilly wait up," he says. I stop and let him speak. "Ok, I know you wanted my help, so I'll give you a little advice. When you see him, and he starts talking to you, don't lie to his face that you don't like him. That's only if he asks. I really don't know a whole lot about this Bradin, but maybe if you talk to him for a while sometime, maybe you two can hang out, but just as friends. I don't really know how it'll all work, but it did for my with your Aunt Lori."
I smile. "Thanks Shawn," I retort.
"No problem birthday girl..." he replies.
Suddenly, we both heard a loud crash upstairs where Aunt Lori and Susan had there 'fashion room,' as they call it.
"I'll take care of that, you go out for awhile ok, I'll let Lori know," he insists.
"Are you sure?" I respond.
"Just go out it'll be fine."
I nod as Shawn ran up the stairs. I want to know what happened up there, but since Shawn said I can go out, I figure I would, but I don't know what.
