I ran to my bedroom hoping that he would be on, I quickly typed in my username and password. I went to the chatroom we usually talked in, and sure enough he was there. He was exactly what I needed.

Jason: Hey Kassidy…missed you baby.

Me: Oh my god I’ve missed you too, I mean it’s been what…4 months. First with your knee surgery I wasn’t able to talk to you all that time, and then you went on vacation.

Jason: I know I’m sorry, wish I could make it up to you.

Me: I know…but you know there is no way…

Jason and I have been going out for almost a year…we live approximately 4 hours a way, and it kills me. My best friend Mandy introduced us this January. I love him so much, but with the distance it’s hard. I never know if he’s being true or what. I can’t really call him…but he has texted me once.  I can’t call him because technically, it’s almost illegal for us to be dating. He’s 17 and I’m 14. He was born December 25^th 1989 and me, I was born December 28^th 1993. Perhaps you’d like to know what I look like. I have long…well short now. I cut it 2 weeks ago, short shoulder length brown hair. I want to dye it a darker brown but people tell me ‘Oh but I love your hair color, people would pay thousands to get that color’ so I keep resisting. I have hazel and blue eyes, and I wear glasses whenever I’m watching TV and stuff. I love reading, writing, and volleyball, but most of all I love Jason Matthis. I remember what he said when I didn’t want him to go on vacation. There was a surfing contest in California, and it was a few weeks after all the rehabilitation with his knee.

Jason: Hey babe

Me: Finally you’re on!

Jason: Yea I know…but you’re going to hate me.

Me: Why?

Jason…Henry bought tickets, non refundable to go to a surfing contest in Cali.

Me: Are you serious…what about your knee…I don’t want you to go. It’s hard enough barely being able to talk to you now…

Jason: I know…but I promise when I come back everything will be great. And Kaley has a surprise to tell you about okay.

Alright just to let you know…Henry is a friend that Jason met in track. And Kaley is his cousin...half sister.  But she considers herself his cousin We text back and forth often.

Me:…but I’m going to miss you too much. God I’m freezing, it is COLD in my house.

Jason: Okay…well I have an idea. Go get a blanket real quick.

Me: Alright. Be right back..

Me: Back

Jason: Alright good, now wrap the blanket around you tightly…and pretend that it’s me holding you. I have to go but I love you babe.
