Somethings Gotta Give 06.

I sat on the couch in front of the fireplace later on that night. I sipped the hot chocolate Jeremiah made me before going out an hour ago. Saturday nights were always when he left me home by myself. I was fine with it, I would do exactly what I'm doing now and read a good book. But right now, I didn't want to read a book. I just wanted to think.

I never figured Lex would break her promise she made? Esp. with it concerning Kevin. I disliked him soooo much. I guess she wasn't much of a real friend. Friends don't go behind your back and break promises. And, what makes it TEN TIMES worse was it was over a guy. You don't ditch your "friends" for a guy, never. I wish I hadn't gone along with Lex and changed everything about me. I missed my old self. The one who didn't get second looks from guys, with lust filled eyes. When girls called me "the nerd" and guys just didn't even look at me.

I put the blanket that I was tangled in on the couch and went to sit next to the window. I loved looking at the stars. I wanted to be an astronomer. Space fascinated me in ways beyond belief. I was finding constellations when, suddenly, a car sharply pulled into the driveway. Jeremiah got and came into the house. I set my hot chocolate down as soon as he slammed the door shut.

"Jer..em..iah?" I studdered out. I continued to walk down the hallway. He appeared at the top of the stairs, with a black eyes and a bloody nose, and busted lip.

"Oh my gosh! Jeremiah, what happened!" I exclaimed, whipping some blood away from his lip.

"I feel down some stairs." He definitely sucks at lying.

"Okay. And I guess I just am supposed to believe that? What fucking happened?!" I said, getting mad.

"Fine. I was a party and Kevin and Craig were there.." I nodded showing him that he could go on, "They were sitting a few seats away from me and I over heard Kevin talking about how good of a fuck Lexius was." I cringed when he said that.

"Continue." I comanded. He sighed.

"Then Kevin started talking about how sexy you were and how he would love to get in your pants. Fast fowarding, we start fighting, and we both got it good, but I think I put more of a number on him more than he did me." I looked at him shocked, angry running through my body. I would never, I repeat, NEVER let that scumbag into my pants. He would have to kill me first.

Monday Afternoon.

My P.E class definitely was my favorite class. Matt and Craig were in there, but unforunately, so was Kevin. Me and Matt had started walking around the gym since the coachs hadn't given us anything to do. Craig kept giving me a few glances, but wouldn't dare leave Kevins side. Me and Matt started to walk by them when Kevin started to talk about how he "kicked Jeremiahs ass." I didn't see how that was possible since Kevin had two black eyes and a bandage over his nose. I turned around and stared at him. I smacked him hard across the face, with my luck the coachs weren't watching.

"Don't even fucking start to believe that you kicked his ass. It's pretty pathetic that you have to go around ranting about something that didn't happen to make yourself look better. He was being a good brother and taking up for me." I kicked him one good time in the knee, making his leg buckle beneath him. "And you'll never get in my pants, so don't even think that you will." I was about to kick him again when Matt came up behind me and grabbed me by the waist and dragged me off. "Let me go, one more time!" I started yelling and kicking. Craig looked at me dumbfounded and amazed at the same time as Matt took me away.

"Jessica! What on God's green earth are you doing?!" He said, sitting me down on the bleachers.

"Trying to fucking kill him, but no. You had to stop me." I said punching his shoulder.

"Ow. and why do you wanna kill him?" I explained the whole story about him and Jeremiah fighting.

"Wow. I probably would had done the same thing. But you have to be careful with them. They arn't exactly the group you want to get into it with." He explained.

I nodded laid down on the empty space on the bleachers. I closed my eyes, All I wanted was to be out of school, senior year hurry up and then head to college. Matt started playing with my hair, I looked up at him and smiled, laying my head back down. A few minutes later, the bell rang, and the school day was over. Now to go to my dad's law firm and spend the day with him. I did this every Monday, since I didn't live with him or mom anymore.

okay. in the next chapter it's not going to have matt in it. he maybe be mentioned, but not physically in it. it's going to be Jessica and someone else. it's probably apparent, but oh well. :]
