We Could Change the World

Come on, please just let me out, it's been months.

The voice rang out in my head. I rubbed my temples lightly and groaned. 'Shut up' I muttered to myself. The woman next to me looked at me strangely. I was about to apologize when the pharamacist called my name. She handed me a bag and told me to have a good day.

Luna, just this once. I'll be good, I promise.

I ran out to my car, and ripped the bag open once I had sat down in the drivers seat. I grabbed my hot water bottle and swollowed two pills quickly and rested my head against the steering wheel. I looked at the label on the bottle, which read Antipsychotics.

Look Luna, the word psycho is in there. It means your crazyyy.

"Go to sleep already," I muttered back. I hated being Schizophrenic. It wasn't my fault, it started happening when I was eleven. Then the doctor told me I had it and started giving me these pills. Let me explain my other half. She's annoying. I call her Lane, it was just a random name Elizabeth sugguested. I take these pills whenever she started to talk to me, and it puts her to sleep for a few hours or days. She drove me insane, making me constantly unaware of thing going on around me.

I sat on the park bench and watched the kids around me play on the play set. I normally didn't come out in public that much without my best friend, Elizabeth. The doctor said it might not be safe for me to be out and about on my own, but I didn't really care.

Lunaaaaaa. I'm uppppp.

I jumped at the sound of her voice. My head started throbbing from the pain. I pulled my knees up to my chest and laid my head on them, wanting the pain to subside. I needed to get to my medicene. I got up quickly and took off running. I almost got hit by a car, and tripped over air once. I ran through the apartment building until I got to my place. I fumbled with the keys opening the door and finding my bottles. I took two fast and leaned over against the wall, dozing of as the pain subsided. I could never live a normal life, it would be crazy.
