Worthless piece of human flesh!

“Her dad?” Skyler piped up, anger running strong in her voice. “psht, yeah right!” I looked at Skyler and basically told her with my eyes to zip it.

“What’re you here for?” I asked, plain and simple. Not looking for conversation and not up for letting him in. Well, that and if he sticks around he’s going to talk to mom, and I have got three boys in my kitchen stuffing their faces with Waffles.

“Well, I came to see you, I know you never met me or anything. But it took a lot for me to find you’re mom and track her down,”

“Track? What are you like a fucking bounty hunter or something? You’re tracking me down? Are you trying to screw me up or something? Why would you even want to see me? You’re the one who didn’t WANT me.” I spat, Skyler then gave me the same look I gave her. I took a deep breath. When he pushed to come in, I blocked him.

“Can I please come in?” He asked.

“You’re not welcome.” I said sternly. “This is me and my mothers house. You’re a stranger.” He looked annoyed.

“IF it wasn’t for me you wouldn’t be here.”

“Not like I’m thanking you.” Josh must’ve heard what was going on and felt the hostility coming from my end of the conversation. He all seriously popped out of nowhere. One second he wasn’t beside me, next he was. He’s like… magic or something.

“Listen, dude, why don’t you just leave and come back when mom is home.” Josh said. The man that claims he is my father looked a little angry now.

“You’ve got a boy in there with you!” he yelled.

“better than a stranger who randomly popped up at the door.” Skyler said, Josh giggled to himself.

“She’s got a point.” I shrugged. “Is this over? Can you go back to whatever hell you came from? Just leave me and my mother alone? You worthless piece of human flesh!”

“I’m coming in.” he shoved through the three of us standing there and went on a search through the house.

“There’s two other boys in here!” He yelled. Jackson stood up confused, raising his hands in the air and Chris just grinned while eating a waffle.

“This is non of you’re business!” I yelled. “I Don’t even know you! Get out of my house!” I screamed. He looked at me angrily. “OUT!” I repeated, pointing to the way he came. He stood there like he was stupid.

“Dude, she said to get out of her house. Obviously you should get out. She could call the cops, you know.” Chris opened his big mouth.

“You little prick! I’m her father!”

“Sure you don’t have the wrong house? If someone were to ask me what I thought you looked like, I’d say a hobo.” Jackson said, and Skyler laughed along with Josh while Chris and I tried to maintain our control.

“Why, you!”

“OUT. OF. MY. HOUSE.” I sighed, “If I have to say this one more time, I might literally call the cops.” I threatened. He looked at me frustrated and walked for the door.

“I’m talking to you’re mother about this. If this is what you’re doing everyday she shouldn’t have custody.”
“And if you pop into random peoples houses thinking you’re their father you should be in jail.” Skyler laughed.

After all was said and done. We checked outside to see if he’d really left. There he sat on the front porch… just sitting there. Weird? I know, right. It was almost creepy.

We’d been sitting in the living room bored out of our minds for about two hours.

Jackson was laying on the couch on his back, tossing a beanie baby up into the air then catching it, then a repeat. Skyler and I were laying on our stomachs on the floor, playing War with a weird set of green cards. Josh laid sideways off of Skyler with his head on her back playing a game boy Color he’d found in a box of my old stuff. While Chris was going through all my CDs playing one after another in the DVD player. Occasionally we’d have to yell at him to go back to a certain song. He just liked to flip through them to see what all was on it. Sometimes somebody would say something, we’d laugh for a little while then it’d grow silent, unless there was a CD in.

“CHRIS!” Skyler screamed without looking away from the cards we were at war with, “If you don’t change it back to the song you just skipped I might just rip your ears off and shove them up you’re ass!”

“Okay! Relax, I’m turning it back.”

“Let’s just leave through the back door.” Jackson finally said, sitting up and throwing the beanie baby at Josh’s hands, knocking the Game Boy out of them.

“Dude! Brilliant!” Skyler basically yelled with excitement, she jumped up onto her feet knocking Josh off of her back. Chris tripped over Josh’s legs and fell right on top of me. We all laughed at the almost domino effect we just had.

“Okay, lest go find something to do.” Jackson said walking towards the back sliding door.

“Hold on, not so fast, I have to leave a note incase my mom gets home before me.” I said, I let them walk out the door and wrote a note quickly and put it on the counter.

“So where we off to?” Skyler asked, as we walked behind my neighbors houses until we got to the stop sign at the end of the street. We were out of vision from my front porch, so we went ahead and moved to the sidewalk.

“Uh, I say lets go hang out at my house.” Chris offered. Skyler looked at me and rolled her eyes.

“I say we go hang out at the skate park.” Jackson grinned.

“Oh c’mon, that thing is tiny. PLUS we don’t have boards.” I basically stabbed his idea with a knife then laughed. Jackson rolled his eyes at me.

“Hm.” Skyler was deep in thought, so deep that I had to stop her from walking off the sidewalk and in front of  a car.

“Jesus Sky! Don’t think so hard.” I laughed, along with the guys.

“Whoopsies!”

So after like, 5 minutes of walking, we were in town and looking for something to do.

“Gah, my car is in you’re drive-way.” Chris finally said as we crossed the busy street and went into the alley that divides Taco Bell from McDonalds. “How could I forget that?”

“How could my mom not say anything about a weird car just sitting in our drive-way?” Skyler bursted into laughter.

“she didn’t even ask about it, did she!” I shook my head and we all laughed, except for Chris whom was ready to have a freaking panic attack.

“You don’t think you’re dad would like…. Steal it right?” Chris asked, worry very obvious in his voice.

“Dad? Don’t call that stranger that. I don’t know him, but I don’t think so?” I tried to sound at least kind of assuring but obviously I didn’t cause his eyes were huge.

“Seriously, Temp!” He yelled. “Seriously!”

“Oh quit having a hissy fit!” Skyler yelled, “You’re oh-so-precious will be fine.” She said to shut him up, “damn.”

“Oh Temp, sweetie!” a weird voice from behind called. I turned around to see Diane smiling a nice white and big smile, as if there was no tension between us!

“Hey Diane,” I put on a fake smile and kept my teeth clenched together.

“Ah, give me a hug! I miss you!” She wrapped her arms around me so I slightly gave her a hug back.

“I bet.” I said sarcastically to myself. “you to.” I said louder so she could hear.

“So you still upset about that whole me and Mike thing?” She asked, cringing her shoulders as if I said something hateful. But I didn’t.

“Of course not, he’s yours.” I turned to look at the three four just staring at me. “What?” I asked, ignoring the voice behind me, still rambling about my ex boyfriend.

The four of them shook their heads at me.

“I’ll see you later, Diane.” I called behind me, and the five of us continued to walk down the alley.

“That was lame.” Skyler said flatly.

“You need to grow some balls and speak you’re mind.” Jackson’s stupid ideas. I like how he words things too.

“Well if only I were a boy, eh?”

“Woah, it wouldn’t be cool if you were a boy.” Chris quickly said.

“Awe, Chris has a crushy wushy on Tempy Wempy.” Josh said, straight face and all.

“Not true!” Chris yelled, getting defensive.

“Oh damn, he does!” Skyler laughed. “Awe, if Temp got a sex change, would you go gay for her?”

“I. Don’t. Like. Her.” Chris said sternly. “She’s not my type. Too much of a push over.”

“Excuse me!” I yelled, my jaw dropped, my feet stopped. “Push over!?”
