I Can't Love You [7]

         Two years passed.High school was over except for graduation, and Stephanie and Ryland and Aira decided to move in together.Aira was excited.Today was the day!Graduation,moving day, and Ryland had a few surprises for her too.

     "Aira are you ready to go?" her mother yelled upstairs her voice shaky from crying.

     Aira looked down the stairs with a saddened look. "Yes mom, I"m ready." She ran down the stairs and hugged her mom.

      "I'm going to miss you so much Aira!" she said as she hugged her, crying again.

    Aira sighed. "Mom, don't cry!It's going to be alright!You're going to make me cry!I'm going to have a family of my own now momma!Don't you worry!"

    "Oh, my baby is growing.. I mean grown up." She took a shaky breath. "Where has time gone?"

    Aira stepped back still holding her mom's arms. "Time flew by.I love you mom." they hugged again.

    When they arrived at graduation, she spotted Ryland and Stephanie.Stephanie ran and hugged her. "Hey Sweetheart!"

    Ryland came up behind her and smiled.Aira looked up through her eyelashes while they still hugged and smiled, then looked back down. "So, when is it my turn?"

   "Ladies first." Stephanie said smiling.

  She finally stepped back, and Ryland gathered her into his arms picking her up and twirling her around. "Today's it!We're all moving."

  Aira smiled and looked up to the sky. "And graduating." she took a deep breath as she lowered her head back down.

 Porter, Sienna, Braden, and Daphne came running over. "Hey you guys!"

 "Hey!" they all said.

 Porter had started dating Daphne not long ago, and Braden and Sienna had broken up not long before graduation.They were still really good friends. "Are you guys ready?"

 She laughed as a bunch of heck yeah's and duh's came out of their mouths.Everyone took their place in line on command.As the names were called Aira got nervous.Then she heard, "Ryland Terrance Bible." she clapped and yelled for him.Then she heard, "Nolan Forest Clayton." She had forgotten all about him every even going to West Point High with them.He and Corrine were still dating, but awkwardly enough she never saw them together.After a long list of people, Aira was finally called. "Airadona Nicole Wench." she went up on stage and heard a loud roar of the crowd and she pumped her fist into the air for victory!She walked off the stage laughing.After everything was over, all the names were called, they announced something else. "Okay everyone.We normally don't let this happen, but we've all seen these two around school, happily in love, and I'm sure it will last, so here is one very special girl's love of her life, Ryland."

 Aira's mouth dropped open. "Airadone Nicole Wench, would you please stand up?" the principal requested.She stood.

 Ryland tookt he stand.He smiled out at everyone, he wasn't a shy person, and loved being infront of crowds. "As most of you know, Aira and I have been together for atleast two years now." the whole crowd shouted.He laughed into the microphone.Aira loved that laugh.She stood there blushing looking up at him.She walked out into the isle amd walked to the podium and stood directly below him. "And, she means, the world to me.I'm usually not nervous infront of crowds but I am right now.She, doesn't have a rude bone in her body, and she is the most amazing girl I've ever met." he smiled down at her then looked back out over the crowd. "So, I was just wondering Aira." he got down on one knee. "Will you marry me?" He took out the most gorgeous ring she had ever seen.

  She heard a ton of  Aaawhh's and Oh my gosh!'s then Aira turned to the crowd and looked out at everyone.Everyone shouted "Say yes!" she yelled back, "I was getting to that!"

  Everyone laughed. "Of course I will!" he picked her upa dn brought her onto stage.They looked at each other for a minute.

  The whole crowd went silent, then they all screamed. "Kiss her already!"

  They both smiled and shared a kiss.After that was all over, Stephanie ran up to them and smiled.They both smiled back at her.They all hugged and Aira's mom was crying even more now. "Mom don't cry!"

  She laughed and they all went back home and got thier bags then met up at Aira's house. "You guys ready?"

   "No." her mom said.

  Aira smiled sympathetically. "Oh, mom come on!You'll see us, and we only live about 10 minutes away, and that's if we walk!We only live three roads down!"

  "Fine, but i'm still going to cry when you leave!Okay?" she smiled.

 "Okay." they all laughed.

 They all waved goodbye as they drove away.When they reached the cute, two story house, that they saved up for for a long time, Stephanie was the first to get to her room.They had already gotten their beds and furniture moved in.Now they just had to unpack clothes.The had already adopted Stephanie so no one could take her away from them.Her father was still in prison, and without her grandmother, she would have been taken away.Aira and Ryland looked at their room.Yes, their room.Since they were getting married they saw no harm in it.But, Aira and Ryland still agreed to stay abstinent until marraige.

 "Hey, Aira can I talk to you for a minute?" Stephanie asked.

 Aira smiled. "Sure sweety what's up?"

 "Well, I was just wondering... never mind it's stupid." she said and turned away to walk off.

 Aira sighed and turned her around. "No, now tell me Steph."

 "But, what if it sounds stupid?"

  Aira smiled sweetly. "Well, I have my moments too, so shoot."

 "Okay, would you care if I... called you mom?" she looked down.

 Aira gasped and cupped her face in her hands. "Awh sweety, whatever you want."

 Ryland was standing behind them and he looked down at Aira and raised and eyebrow.She poked her lip out while she hugged Stephanie.He rolled his eyes and mouthed 'Fine.'.Aira smiled and blew him a kiss.I'm a  mom!She thought.She was extatic.She stood up and ran her hand down Stephanie's hair then nudged her and siad, "Shower then bed." Stephanie rolled her eyes. "Fine."

  Aira laughed. "Hey, we're all going to bed."

 Ryland spoke up. "Huh?"

 "I'm pooped Ry!" she said kissing him.

 Stephanie laughed. "If I go down you're going with me Ry!"

 He laughed and ran after her and picked her up throwing her over his shoulder.She laughed and Aira shook her head smiling at Ryland as she helped Stephanie down. "Hey, Steph?You know where his ticklish spot is right?"

 "Uh huh." she said nodding. "Yeah, you?"

 Aira nodded. "Gang up on him?"

 "Definetly."

 "Woah, think about what you're doing!If you're fiancee dies of laughing too hard, you'll feel really bad." he said.

 They shrugged. "We've got each other."

 He laughed. "Cruel."

 They ran after him making him fall backwards onto the carpet.They starting tickling him until her finally started tickling them back.They stopped tickling him and he wrapped them up in his arms and quit tickling them back.The girls caught their breath and leaned on Ryland.He kissed Aira's forehead, and stood up carrying Stephanie into the bathroom he put her down and pointed to the shower. "I know, I know!"

 "Don't worry, it's his turn next Steph." she said smiling walking down the stairs and winking at Ryland.

 He stuck his tounge out as she walked down the stairs.She smiled and cocked her head to one side.She slipped on a stair, and caught the rail.She laughed blushing. "Man, and I was doing so well!"

 "Ha!That's what you get!" he said passing her up on the stairs.

 She raised her eyebrow. "And to think I was going to be nice and take my shower with you."

 He stopped and turned back to look up at her. "Oh really?"

 "Oh yeah." she said nodding. "But, never mind." she said shrugging.

 "No not never mind!" he said.

 She laughed. "You were so mean though, so I don't know." she said with mock sadness.

  He cupped her face in his hands and kissed her. "All better?"

  "Sorta.Maybe you should do a little more damage control." she said smiling into the kiss.

  He kissed her long this time, and when they finally parted, she smiled. "Okay, you're forgiven."

  He pulled his arm in saying, "Yes!"

 She laughed and heard Stephanie yell. "Mom!"

 She ran up the stairs into the bathroom. "Yeah Steph?"

 "Just seeing if it works." she smiled.

 Aira laughed. "Yeah, it worked!"

 She walked back downstairs, and sat with Ryland watching tv.He was watching CSI MIAMI, one of her favorite shows. "It doesn't make you mad she calls me mom does it?"

 "No, I've always thought she needed someone to call mom, and whom better then someone she lives with and someone who loves her?" he said smiling.

  She layed her head on his chest. "It makes me feel..imprtant or something.It seems like it filled a gap that's been inside for so long.It's the most amazing feeling Ryland."

  He kissed the top of her head. "I saw that joy in your eyes when she asked you if she could call you mom.I couldn't take that away from you."

  She laughed. "I wouldn't have let you."

 He wrapped his arms around her and watched tv.After a while he got bored, so he threw some popcorn at her.She gasped, obviously not expecting that. "Oh, you jerk1You scared me!I was zoned in to the tv, and wasn't expecting that!"

 He laughed. "Hey, mom, why don't you go check on Stephanie and see what's taking so long."

 "Okay." she said smiling.She threw some popcorn is his hair before going upstairs.

 "Steph you okay in there?" she wasn't in the bathroom, so she went into Stephanie's room.

 Stephanie was on her bed staring at the floor. "Steph what's wrong?"

 "He dumped me." she said.

 "Who dumped you?" she asked.

 Stephanie looked up with those big pretty eyes. "Chris."

 Aira sighed. "Oh, I'm sorry sweetheart.I know how you feel."

 "I really liked him.I mean I'd never liked anybody more.But he dumped me for my best friend." She started to cry.

 "Don't you cry, he isn't worth it." she held her in her arms.

  Stephanie sighed. "I know mom, but I can't help it."

 "Come on.Let's eat some chocolate, it's the heartbreak airbag.You can eat it to make you feel better, and I'll eat it, cause I'm craving some." she smiled.

  They walked out and downstairs to the kitchen.She got out he chocolate syrup, ice cream and hershey bars then walked into the living room for a second. "Ryland, rain check on that shower?"

  "Awh why?" he whined.

  She smiled. "Stephie just went through her first serious break up."

  "How bad?" he asked.

  "Chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, and hershey's chocolate bad." she bit her lip and raised and eyebrow.

  Ryland sighed laying back. "Yep, that's the no boys allowed zone.I think I'll just go take that shower now."

 Aira laughed. "Thanks babe.I love you."

 He kissed her. "I love you too."

 Aira went back into the kitchen and stuck her finger in Stephanie's ice cream. "Hey!"

 Aira laughed. "Sorry looks good."

 "Yes it does!" she took a huge bite.

 They talked for a few minutes while eating their chocolate.Stephanie started feeling better, so Aria rubbed some ice cream on her nose.Stephanie put some on Aira's forehead then the war started.When it was over they were both covered in chocolate and on the floor laughing. "I've never done that before." Stephanie said.

 "Me either." they both laughed then stopped quickly when Ryland walked in.

  "What happened in here?!"

 Their mouths dropped open and they looked at each other. "We, uh..."

 "And why wasn't I invited?" he smiled and they jerked him down with them.

  Okay, fun yet kinda boring chapter!Drama in the next chapter or so!It's going to be awesome!Okay, so in the next chapter, we're going to skip to where they are already married, and a few problems come up.Stephanie and Aria start having problems, Ryland has some news that will upset both of them, and Aira and Ryland will have some upsetting news from the doctor.So please read the next one too!Read, rate and comment!!Pleeasse!SUBSCRIBE!!
