I Can't Love You [10]

     Braden went straight to Sienna's house and burst in.She wasn't there.He looked everywhere and couldn't believe she wasn't home.Where could she have been?Man, this wasn't good.He rushed out, locking her door behind him.He jumped in his car and sped to the mall.He rushed in and found Stephanie walking around.He ran over.

  "Steph!Have you seen Sienna?!" he asked hurriedly.

  She stepped back bewildered.She nodded. "She was crying sorta, she was headed towards.. uhm.. Bath and Body or Ryan's Movie Rental.Is everything..."

  He ran away before she could finish.He ran straight into a tall man on the way there. "Sorry dude!" he said.

  "Watch it kid." he glared.

  Braden shrugged it off then turned a corner and walked into Bath and Body.She was nowhere in sight.He practically ran to the movie store.No sign of her.He asked the clerk if he had seen her. "It's URGENT!"

   "How so?" he asked skeptically.

    Braden sighed. "I probably just lost her if I can't fin her.I've looked evrywhere, and I made a huge mistake.I need her man, you have no clue.Please."

    The guy looked sad for Braden. "I'm sorry dude, she said something about the air port.Going to Florida, and starting over?"

   He almost dropped to the ground. "Which airport?!"

  "I have no clue...OH but wait, I have the times of the flights right here!" he handed him the flight times.

  "How-?"

  The guy cut him off. "She needed it, so I made a copy, just go or you'll miss out.. been there.Don't let it happen."

  Braden nodded and smiled thankfully.He wisped past everyone and when he reached his car he was on his way to the airport in less than a minute.When he reached the first airport he ran inside and called her phone listening for the fimiliar ring tone and her face.He looked around for five minutes calling and calling her, but he didn't see her and after asking atleast 12 people, he ran back to his car.The next airport flight for Florida took off in atleast 15 minutes, and it would take him atleast 20 minutes to get there.He sped as fast as he could.When he arrived, everyone was boarding.He ran inside and saw Sienna handing the woman her ticket.He yelled her name. "SIENNA!" she turned around and dropped her bag.She looked down.

  "Bray." she whispered.

   He took her hand. "Please, don't leave me."

  "I have to." she said looking up. "I can't live this life.I need to start over."

  His eyes shut for a moment. "Baby please.." he opened his eyes breathing deeply. "Please don't."

   She held herself together. "Braden, I have to go!Please understand.I'm not leaving because of you.I'm leaving because, in Florida I could stay and relax.I could get things straight and maybe one day... I might come back, but for now Bray, this is goodbye." she said turning.

  He took her wrist and led her away from the tunnel area. "Sienna, I love you.I love you more than anything in this world.Breaking up with you was stupid of me and ignorant."

   "I know you're just doing this for the baby Braden, I'm not stupid."

    He isghed heavily. "I'm doing this for YOU Sienna, and for our love!I want this baby, don't you know that?I want YOU AND THE BABY!"

    She looked down. "I'm sorry."

   He let go. "Fine.If that's what you want." his voice cracked with emotion, tears welling up in his eyes.

    She looked up at him. "It is."

    He took a breath looking away, trying not to cry and tooka  step back. "Goodbye." with that, he just walked away.She looked after him crying and he never looked back. "I love you." she whispered.

    When he reached the door he stopped and took a long deep breath, his shoulders shuddering violently, and Sienna saw.She closed her eyes. "It's what I want." And as if on cue he looked back one last time and walked away.

   Ryland and Aira

   Aira looked up into Ryland's eyes. "I wonder how it went with Braden and Sienna.I'm really worried about them."

  "Aira, come on.I'm sure it was a fairy tale ending!Stop worrying!"

   Then, Braden walked through the door and looked at them with weary, red eyes. "She.. left." he whispered.

  "Left?Where did she go?" Ryland asked.

  Braden looked away, tears falling again. "Flor-" his voice trailed off. "Florida."

  Aira ran over to him and hugged him. "Oh, Braden."

  Ryland offered to let him stay there.He accepted and wearily walked to the guest room.Aira grabbed her cell and dialed Sienna. "Hello?" Sienna's voice was thick like syrup.

  "Sienna?" Aira hissed.

  She heard Sienna sigh. "Look, I'm sorry, but I have to-"

  "Have to what?Break Braden's heart, scare me to death?" Aira spat.

   "Listen Aira!I need to take a break from my old life.You need to understand that my life isn't all cookies and creme.I found out that my dad really isn't my real dad, that I would have had a twin, but they gave her up for adoption, and that I'm pregnant.Please don't.. don't yell at me" she pleaded.

  "Oh.. Sienna..." Aira tried to think of something to say.

  "It's okay.Just tell Braden I love him with all my heart." she said.

  Aira sighed. "Tell him yourself."

  Sienna's breath caught. "I can't.. not after what I did to him."

  "Just ... call him sweety.His phone is off anyway.. leave a message.I lvoe you so much Sienna.Come back someday please." she said before hanging up.

  ..............

  Braden woke up the next morning and checked his voice mail.He saw Sienna's number and hurried ot listen.

   "Bray.I'm so sorry for everything I've done.There's so much I know you don't understand, but maybe one day you will.Please know that I love you with all my heart and I always will.I'll be back one day.Please wait for me."
