Ryland grabbed his jacket as he headed for the door.He and Bethany hadn't talked and over two weeks had passed.He knew he would have to talk to her at some point.He didn't know what to say or how to say it without blowing up.It's cold outside, with snow lightly covering the frozen ground like powdered sugar.He took in a cold, slow breath and sighed. How am I going to do this? He thought to himself sa he started his car.He walked down the street and turned a corner, and ran into Corrine.She stared at him with wide eyes then started to rush by him but he grabbed her arm. "Corrine?"

She looked down." Yeah."

"I thought.."

"I moved away?" she finished for him.

He nodded slowly. "Yeah."

"Well, i didn't." She sighed.

"Moommyy!" a small child cheered as she grabbed Corrine's hand.

Ryland smiled down at the child then gave an understanding grin to Corrine. "Who is this beautiful young thing?"

"This is my daughter Rayne Rachaye." she nodded stroking the girls hair.

"Who are you?" Rayne asked bluntly.

Ryland smiled.

"Honey!Manners!" Corrine laughed. "I'm sorry."

"Don't worry about it.Hi Rayne, I'm Ryland, and your mommy and i used to be friends."

She frowned. "Well, why aren't you now?"

"Who said we weren't?" Ryland smiled.

The girl shrugged. "You said were friends."

"Nothing gets by you does it?Well, i just meant we haven't seen each other in a very very long time."

"Okay Rayne thats enough." Corrine patted the girls shoulder.

The girl nodded and stepped away from the two and walked back into the house.Ryland and Corrine stood there in an awkward silence for a little while before Corrine decided to speak. "So... how are.. things?"

Stephanie

Shoot!I forgot those too! Stephanie slapped her forehead as she turned the car around.She was picking up the groceries Ryland had left a note asking her to.She was almost home, so she decided to go ahead and drop off hte groceries that she hadn't forgotten.She ran those inside, and put them all away wondering where everyone was.She hurried back to the car and drove away as quickly as she could, still trying to be safe.She was almost five months pregnant now, and she had a huge baby belly.She was singing to her favorite song when she went around a corner and saw Ryland, she got distracted and wasn't paying attention.Ryland looked her way and she saw his eyes get wide and he screamed and pointed infront of her.She looked ahead and saw a huge delivery truck headed her way.She swerved, hit a patch of ice, and started to spiral out of control.She heard the crunch of metal, the shattering of glass, and the sceams of Ryland,herself, and what sounded like a female voice.She screamed one last time before she blacked out.
