Moving Back 5

Romance Created on 3-13-08 Views(43) Story Rating G

Seeing the painfilled look on Jason'sface Courtney felt horrible.

"Jason, I'm sorry I shouldn't have come." She started o get up but felt a hand on her elbow.

"No, please stay. I don't know when the next time I'll see you is."

She sat down and starred into his eyes. After that they talked for hours. They talked about his parents, and the new shopping mall. They talked about what he did after she left. When he talked about how he went t his mom for advice on how to cook she laughed.

"I've always loved your laugh. The way your eyes spakle and how whenever the world was messed up, when you laughed I thought everything would be ok. And how whenever you cryed I wanted to kill the one responsible. I really missed you Court." He looked like he was going to cry.

Court

Her nickname only he calledher. He gave her that nickname after he debated with him for over an hour about concentrated orange juice.

"I missed you too Jace."

She was finishing her salad and he was already done with his cheesburger.

He payed their tab and they walked out the door. It was dark outside and the lights in the store windows were on. It was 8:30 and Courtney had only been gone for about an hour and a half. People walking down the sidewalk that reconized her stopped chatted or a bit. When i was about 9:00 they were finally alone.

Man, I know this is wrong, but I really wish he would hold my hand. She thought.

Like reading her mind he grabbed her hand and rubbed his thumb across her fingers. She felt an electric shock run threw her body. That was th first time in what seemed like forever that she didn't see Nick pop up in her mind when she looked at another man.
