Ereka stopped running as soon as she got to the second floor and fell to her knees. “Are you ok?” Ereka looked up to see the twins Mika and Nami standing before her. “Oh, yeah I’m fine.” She smiled bringing herself back to her feet. The twins exchanged a quick glance.

 

“Are you sure?” they asked. “Mm hmm, I’m positive. I’m just a little tired is all… Wait, what are you two doing here?” Ereka asked. “It’s a secret.” They said smiling. “You don’t have to stand there all day you know.” Nami said. “Yeah, just come on out and apologize to her already.” Mika added.

 

Ereka looked behind her confused and was stunned to see Derrick standing there.

 

“How did you two…?” he started.

 

“Oh, don’t worry bout that.” Mika said.

 

“Yeah, we’ll just leave you two be. Oh, and don’t you have to leave early today E?” Nami asked.

 

“We’ll tell the teacher you left already, so take your time talking.” Then the two ran off.

 

“Those two are stranger than ever.” Ereka thought to herself. “I wonder if…”

 

“Look,” Derrick began. “That stuff I said… I didn’t… I mean…”

 

“Are you trying to apologize?”

 

“Don’t get the wrong idea! I’m not doin it because I want to!”

 

Ereka smiles at him. “Don’t worry about it. After all it was kinda true.”

 

He starred at her for moment. “Umm, Can I ask you something?”

 

“What?”

 

“Why do you hate humans so much?”

 

“It’s none of your business.” Derrick snapped.

 

“Oh, I’m sorry.”

 

“Derrick, would stop being so mean to her!?” Clair yelled throwing a fire ball at him. He dodged it then turned toward her. “What the hell are trying to do!?” he demanded. Clair ran over to Ereka. “Please forgive him Princess. He’s an idiot with pea sized brain who doesn’t know how to express the way he really feels.”

 

“What is that supposed to mean?”

 

“Exactly how it sounded.”

 

“Look you little…”

 

“Umm, could you guys not be so loud? You might attract attention.” Ereka says looking around nervously. When she’s the clock she freaks. “Oh no, I have to go. I’m running late.” She says taking off again.

 

“Hey hu…!”

 

“Well, well, what’s this? Don’t want her to leave your side?” Clair says smiling. “Would you shut up!? I don’t care about her!”

 

“That’s what your mouth says, but your eyes are telling me a whole nother story.”

 

“Tsk, I’m outta here.” Derrick says vanishing in a guest of wind.

 

“You shouldn’t tease him so much.” Joshua says. “I can’t help it. Did you see how red his face was turning? I can’t help but be happy for him.” Clair says. “I know,”

 

 

“I am soooo sorry. Did you wait long?” Ereka asked hopping into Anthony’s car. “No, I actually just got here.” He replied pulling away from the school. “So, how was school?” he asked. “The demons that helped me last night were there. “They want me to help them, but I don’t know…”
         

“You should just follow your heart.”

 

“That’s what mom used to say.”

 

“Well, she was a wise woman.”

 

They arrive at the shooting location and head inside. “I feel like something really bad is going to happen soon. I feel as though I should join them, but I’m afraid.”

 

“What are you afraid of?”

 

“I’m not really sure.”
         

“What the hell am I thinking following after her?” Derrick thinks to himself. “Afraid huh… how stupid.”

 

After the details of the movie were discussed and the roles were announced Anthony and Ereka headed back out. “Are you gonna be okay with the script? You didn’t have to take the role you know.” Anthony said. “I know, but as long as you’re there watching me I’ll be fine.” They turned onto an empty street.

 

“How the hell could someone like possibly have the power of the princess?” Derrick thinks to himself. In that moment shards of ice hit the car followed by a fireball. “Ereka!” Derrick callsout.
