P.S. I Love You [9]

It was lunch and I was sitting there not saying a word or touching my food. I wasn’t hungry and wasn’t in the mood to talk. Until Natasha said, “What’s wrong?”

“You know the notes?” I asked while looking down

“Oh yeah, the notes that Jack said he wrote.”

“Yeah those one’s well there aren’t going to be any more notes.” I said starting to cry. Chad scoots closer to me and comforts me.

“Why?”

“He is over me.” more tears came running down my face.

“That’s why he is a stupid man.” Chad said shaking his head back and forth

“He is not stupid.” I defended him and pushed Chad away and looked down about to cry even more.

“No he is stupid to let go of a girl like you.” I looked up and smiled a bit. Then Natasha had to mention, “You know that you have to keep searching for him?” I was a bit mad because I tried to forget and I was looking at Chad, but Natasha kept going.

“Why would I?” I asked while going in for a kiss with Chad

“Because he is your soul mate.” 

“He will never be my soul mate.” I started to cry again and Chad comforted me.

            I looked over at Dustin with Emily. Emily was trying to kiss Dustin, but Dustin won’t even look at Emily. I felt bad. That’s when I realized Dustin was using Emily. I thought maybe I still have a chance to be with him.

            I went to the bathroom and saw Jenna. I asked her, “Was Dustin using Emily?” I was hoping she would answer me. “Now you want to know.” Jenna said in an angry voice. “Yes, please I need good news after… never mind forget it.”

“After what?”

“After knowing that my mystery guy is over me.” A tear fell from my face.

“He said he was over you?” She said in total shock

“Yes, so please tell me the rest of that sentence.”

“Okay, He said ‘If any one asks me that I am with Emily and not Serenity its because she is not my type of girl and not the girl I want. Then Serenity won’t think I like her and out of no where I ask her out.’”

“How sweet.”

            I felt a tear again, but it was a tear of joy I was excited. I wanted to break up with Chad, but he was so good to me. I knew I had to become friends with Dustin again. As I went back to the cafeteria I told everyone that I will hang out with them once in awhile, but I am going to hang with Jenna. They understood. The next and last thing I had to do was appologize to Dustin. So I went up to him and said, “Dustin I am sorry.”

“I forgive you.” I didn’t expect him to forgive me so quickly I guess he really did like me.

“Really?”

“Really, and I broke up with Emily.”

“Why?”

“She wasn’t my type.”

            I laughed. We had a great conversation and that’s when I realized that Dustin and I were meant to be friends and we will always be friends.
