P.S. I Love You [10]

I am so happy to be living this very day. There is nothing that could make anything better. I am back with my friends and everything is back to normal. Dustin was a treasure that I wanted to last forever, so I didn’t want to be anything more than friends or else things wouldn’t be the same.

“When are you going to ask out Dustin?” Jenna asked

“I am not going to ask him out I am staying with Chad.” I explained to her while I grabbed a tray to get my food.

“What? I thought you didn’t like Chad.”

“The way he was so nice to me when I was hurt changed everything.”

“But, don’t you like Dustin more?” Jenna asked while stepping in front of me so I stop walking.

“I did, but if we become anything more than friends then things will go wrong.” I walked around Jenna as she was just standing there shocked and surprised. I went to sit next to Dustin and Chad on the other side of me. Jenna finally decided to move and she sat across from me. “Jenna you’re very quite what’s wrong?” Dustin asks

“Just the one thing I really wanted to happen never will happen.” Jenna explained

“That’s no reason to be sad. Put your head up and be happy. Things happen for a reason.”

            I wanted to go over and hug Jenna and tell her everything works out for the better, but Chad was kissing me and I was too distracted. I didn’t want any more drama. I had great friends and I really liked this school. But I knew something was just about to go wrong.

            After school I was sitting next to Jenna and we were talking about the Dustin thing. “I just don’t get why you are over Dustin.” Jenna said confused

“I am not over Dustin, I just don’t want drama.” I explained. Dustin walked over and Jenna left me. I was alone with Dustin I was feeling a little nervous, but we ended up having a great conversation.

“Hey, Serenity.” Dustin greeted me

“Hey.” I said back

“What’s up?”

“Nothing I was just talking to Jenna then she left.”

“Is she still upset?”

“Yeah, I think just a little bit.”

“Oh. What did she want to happen that didn’t happen?”

“I am not quite sure.”

“Your eyes look beautiful in the sun.”

“Thanks, so does yours.”

“Thanks.” We stared into each other’s eyes then we kept getting closer before I knew it we were kissing and I was enjoying it, but I was dating someone so I pushed him away and he fell in to the fountain. “Sorry Dustin, I just don’t want drama.” I said and ran away.
