P.S. I Love You [16]

I picked up the phone and said, “Hello?”

“Hey, Serenity?” someone said

“Duh”

“It’s Dustin. Listen what happened was stupid and not true.”

“I found out it was Natasha, but you think its okay to go out with her?”

“I am not going out with Natasha I thought we were still going out. Plus I won’t date that bitch.”

“Why not?”

“Well, you heard about the goodbye dance with Natasha, Jenna, and I, right?”

“Yeah your point is?”

“I really liked Jenna. While I was going to get something Natasha grabbed me and kissed me. Jenna saw me before I was able to break away. I thought I would never find a girl as great as her, but then I met you.”

“So sweet, that you would come up with a lie to get me to forgive you.” I hung up through my phone, and started to cry into my pillow. I didn’t believe Dustin because he has already told so many lies I don’t know when to believe him.

            The next day I showed up at school. I was sad all day. This was the last thing I ever wanted. When I walk through the school doors Jenna came up to me and asked, “Where were you yesterday?”

“Crying and talking to Dustin.” I said

“You got his number?”

“No he called me.”

“What happened?”

“He said that Natasha kissed him at the goodbye dance.”

“Well there is only one way to find out.”

            So we went to find Natasha. We couldn’t find her anywhere. So we just went to the bathroom and of course she was in there. Jenna went up to Natasha and knocked Natasha’s eyeliner out of her hand. “Did you kiss Dustin or did Dustin kiss you at the goodbye dance?” Jenna asked ready to punch Natasha.

“I kissed him.” Natasha admitted

“What?” Jenna was ferrous

“Are you going out with Dustin?” I asked

“No” Natasha admitted again

“Why did you lie?”

“I wanted to win.”

“Win what? Win hurting me and Jenna?”

“No be the best out of everyone.”

“Then why didn’t you just stay with Jack?”

“Because Dustin is the cutest boy and the sweetest. Every girl wants him.”

            I was shocked by that because I thought everyone liked Jack. But I knew after school I had to call Dustin and apologies hoping he is willing to forgive me.
