Girl battle Chapter 1

I am a 16 year old girl with 2 brothers and three sisters. My dad dies when I was 6. I miss him more than anything. It’s my first day of being a junior in high school today!

                I get up like every teen girl. I take forever to choose what outfit I want to wear. I go through three different hairstyles till I decide to wear my hair down. All of this makes me late so I have no time for breakfast. I grab a banana, kiss my mom, and run out the door to the bus. Once I get on the bus I sit next to my best friend Jonnie. Now people say I am a pretty nerd. I am smart and very nice, but drop dead gorgeous according to Jonnie. I don’t have a boyfriend because either I am too nice or too smart.

“Hey, I am so excited the junior prom is this year.” Jonnie said hugging me really tight and releasing me very slowly.

“Hold your horse’s junior prom isn’t till the end of the year.” I said

“I know which gives us a whole year to get a boyfriend.”

“Okay, but don’t get your hopes up too high.” I said as the bus stopped.

                We got off the bus and just stared at the school for awhile. People looked at us strangely especially since we were juniors and we looked so surprised at how big the school was. Then we looked at each other and smiled. Then we ran inside. There so many kids in there I thought I would get lost.

“I have to get something out of my locker meet me in the bathroom by my locker.” Jonnie said trying to squeeze through all these people.  Jonnie’s locker is all the way on the other side of the school. I didn’t need much out of my locker. So I went to the bathroom and of course I bump into a boy. Let me rephrase that the cutest boy in junior history. Too bad he is taken. His name is Zack, he is dating the bitchest girl ever, Tina.

“I am sorry just wasn’t paying attention to where I was going. Do you forgive me?” I asked staring to his eyes. I felt like I was shrinking or he was growing.

“You’re too nice. No wonder everyone calls you a freak.” He laughed and walked away. I felt embarrassed, but I didn’t know what else to say.

                I finally made it to the bathroom. There were three seniors in there putting on loads of makeup. I was think that they put way too much make up then I realized I was saying it out loud, “No wonder no one likes you, you put loads of make up on and you can’t see your inner beauty.” I put my hand over my mouth.

“Excuse me?” Once of them said giving off a lot of attitude.

“I am so sorry I didn’t mean to say that. Please, Please forgive me?”

“Whatever.” All three of them said and walked out of the bathroom like robots.

                Finally Jonnie enters the bathroom. She was holding a bag of something.

“What is in the bag?” I asked looking at it.

“Oh its clothes I need to be a slut to get a guy.” She said holding up the top she was going to change into.

“Oh boy that sure is slutty. Why do you need to wear that you are pretty enough.” I said. Jonnie walked into the stall to change her clothes.

“Michelle, I am not as pretty as you so I need the clothes and the make up to make me look gorgeous.” She through her top at me and I put it into her back pack.

“Yeah well at least you have a little mean in you.” I said

“Oh please someone will appreciate you.” She said coming out of the stall. She looked a little too slutty.

                We walked out of the bathroom and there we saw a new cute guy. He was hotter than the sun. We just stared at him open his locker. I started to drawl so I snapped out of it. I kept snapping in Jonnie’s face till she stopped staring and looked at me.

“Do you know him?” I asked

“No, but I sure want to. I think he is new.” Jonnie said

                All the sudden it was like a fan turned on and music started playing because here came the populars. Of course she walks toward us, but maybe that’s because we are blocking the bathroom door.

“Excuse me losers.” She said flipping her ugly hair

“Are you two staring at Ryan the new hottie?” Sarah asked

“Yes why do you care?” Jonnie said trying to be rude and cool.

“I don’t I am just letting you know he is all mine.” She said flipping the other side of her hair.

“I bet you Michelle can totally win him before junior prom.” Jonnie challenged

“Fine this will be easy.” She walked into the bathroom as we went to English class. I guess I really have to be someone I am not to get Ryan’s attention.
