We Weren't Crazy |7|

It was getting late out and I spend the entire day at Jasmine's. It's totally bumming. I was looking forward to spending time with my old friend, but instead my own best friend gets to hang out with her instead of me. It sucks. I really wish that Leila and I could catch up on things, only if she would remember me.

Abruptly, there is a knock at the front door. Jasmine and I were making peanut butter and avocado sandwiches. It's a long story, but we both have been making them since I moved here.

"I get it," she states, rushing over to the door. She opens the door and the gang is back. With all the laughing and giggling, I could tell they had a great time without me.

"Too bad you two couldn't come." Lucas says looking over at Leila.

"Yeah we had a blast," she smiles.

"Well that's good to hear," I tell them. "But I'm having fun with Jasmine anyway." I say sarcastically.

Jasmine looks over at me, knowing that I was just kidding.

"Well we better get going, right Connie?" I hear Leila talking to her step-sister still standing by the door.

"Yeah your right. Hey it was nice meeting you guys. We both had a great time." Connie laughs.

"Hey if you want you two can hang out with us tomorrow too, if that's okay." I announce.

Lucas speaks up. "Yeah, we're going surfing at the cove."

"Sounds like fun," Leila states. "We'll be here."

"Catch y'all later," Connie shouts as they walk out the door, as Jasmine slams the door behind them. It seems like I was the only one that notices the she's a little pissed off at me inviting them over tomorrow.

She gawks her head over at me and stares me down with her evil look. I can tell she obviously she didn't like what I said. Jasmine is the type of girl that wants to be alone and doesn't want to deal with others, or so I think. She wasn't this way before, but I can see it now.
