Hey, my name is jessie, I'm Australian and i'm 23. I am a trained makeup artist which i have been doing since I finished school. I started painting when i was about 7 as my mum was a folk art teacher - this gave me a love of painting floral subjects, I have however progressed to painting more abstract work as it is more about expressing creativity through movement and colour rather than following a pattern which is what folk art is. I have no formal training in visual art but i am planning on studying it next year at university :) i began selling my art about a year ago and it is going really well. I am really loving this site - there is some phenomenal talent out there which blows me away and inspires me to do new things and get back into using other mediums especially drawing and poetry.
